All week I’ve been sharing pieces of my journey, but this is where it truly began with this incredible woman and my late Grandfather. If you know my story, you know my love for massage started at just 5 years old, massaging my grandparents’ feet. Yes, FEET! Lol, I enjoyed it. Long before it became a career, family would call on me for massages.

So this picture of my Grandmother at my business is more than just a sweet moment, it’s a full circle one.

No matter what path I considered, she always supported me. But she’d remind me time and time again, “This is what you were meant to do.”
And she was right. 💆🏽‍♀️

I love you, Grandma. Thank you for seeing it in me before I could see it in myself. 🤍

With all my post thus far THIS is my favorite piece of my journey to share as VaKaye counts down to turning 4! 🎉

This was my original business plan back in 2019 when I was still a student and honestly, I didn’t think I’d actually run my own business. I was scared! But here we are! The vision I wrote down as just a graded project is now my reality. The structure, the services, even the location. I’m just five minutes from Harbison, and in Lexington county exactly where I envisioned it! (VaKaye didn’t start at this location). Crazy how God will put you where you’re suppose to be.

Let this be a reminder: when you write it down, you’re already bringing it to life so be intentional in every thing that you say… no matter how crazy it seems. No dream is too big, and your purpose will always find you. ✨
