Thank you, Dr. Jacobs, for your many years of dedication to our community. Your compassion and commitment made a lasting impact on so many lives. We are especially grateful to call you our great-uncle and Uncle. You are a true role model to our family.

After more than 65 years of caring for generations of families, Dr. Donald Jacobs is retiring. Dr. Jacobs, a family medicine physician at Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson, is wrapping up his career in health care on Tuesday, March 31.

He says he will miss his patients dearly, but is grateful for the opportunity to care for them over the years.

“It never felt like work,” he reflected. “I did what I loved. I didn’t do it for money. My job was easy: see one patient at a time and give them my full devotion.”

We congratulate Dr. Jacobs on an extraordinary career, thank him for his countless contributions and wish him nothing but the best in retirement.
