I’m back!
After a much needed day off.
I would love to say I slept in, got a massage etc.
Truth is I did some much needed cleaning, organizing etc. My son and his girlfriend just moved out after living with us for almost 15 months. Trying to return the house to order. We are having Christmas here Saturday. Being able to make lists, work on tasks while undisturbed, not having to people, it was the reset I needed. I love my people- but I was frustrated, anxious and agitated. I feel so much better now.
Recognize when you are overwhelmed. Take the time you need. We need to acknowledge and respect mental wellness. Whether it be you, or someone you know, work with, etc.. Give grace and give space. 💜

Life has been A LOT recently.
I know I need a break. Just a brief one should do it.
I need quiet. I need to be productive. I likely need a good exhausting cry. That’s life.
Everything has limits! Most things however, come with instructions or a tag.

Humans - not so much. By the time most people realize they have reached their limit- it’s too late. It might result in harsh words or actions. Wouldn’t it be great if we came with a label warning us of what exactly that breaking point is?
I’m tired. I’m teetering on an abyss of frustration that I dont want to turn into anger.
I need space.
I need to breathe.

I know you do too sometimes.
NORMALIZE self care. Don’t be afraid to say you need a break.
