Are you interesting in becoming a Ski Patroller at Ski Brule? We are starting our Outdoor Emergency Care class on November 22nd at Ski Brule in Iron River, MI. The class is each week from 9 am to 12 pm until late February.

Congratulations to the ten candidates who completed the OET(Outdoor Emergency Transportation) course at Ski Brule this past Sunday. These new(and soon to be) Alpine Patrollers can now safely transport guests in a toboggan. Two participants could not be in the photo.

Yesterday we welcomed 4 new patrollers to our ranks! After months of hard work, Melissa, Esther, John, and Blaze (not pictured) successfully completed the OEC Technician exam (ski patrol first aid).

Last week we held our Outdoor Emergency Transportation exam, testing the students' ability to safely transport a loaded toboggan down the hill. This is a separate certification from Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), which is the first aid portion.

Everyone passed!
