Join LEGENDS 102.7 for our annual Day of Hope on Saturday, December 6. We’ll be broadcasting live from Ide Volkswagen in East Rochester from 10a-2p to support the Sunset House, a local comfort care home dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care.

Located on St. Paul Blvd. in Irondequoit, the Sunset House offers comfort, dignity, and peace for residents and their families, addressing every physical, emotional, spiritual, and social need. With only two beds, their small size allows for deeply personalized, 24/7 care from their incredible team of staff and volunteers.

As a non-profit organization, The Sunset House receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations from the community to continue its mission of love and support.

Come be part of something meaningful! Your generosity helps ensure that every resident’s final days are filled with comfort, care, and hope.

Items Needed:
Copy paper
Wegmans gift cards
Paper Towels (preferably Bounty)
Amazon gift cards
Baby wipes
Tide pods (unscented) or liquid Tide (unscented)
Hand soap
Dishwasher detergent (pods)
Dish soap
Disinfectant wipes

Monetary donations will be accepted as well.

Save the date!!!!

Summer may seem like a long way away, but let's be ready for the Hospice Regatta when it comes. Save the dates for our Friday night wine tasting, auction, and raffle on August 14th and the regatta on Saturday, August 15th. This year, the Rochester Yacht Club will be the host.

What a fantastic surprise — thank you to the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce for your generous check from last month’s golf tournament!

Your support doesn’t just help the cause — it powers it. Because of partners like you, we’re able to keep the momentum going and make an even bigger impact in our community.

We’re grateful, we’re inspired, and we can’t wait to team up again!

With the help of our wonderful community, business sponsors and donors, we were able to present The Sunset House with a check from the proceeds of our J Genier Charity Mini Golf Tournament. Once again this year, we were able to donate $5k! It is because of the vision of our tournament founder Joe Genier, and all of you who continue to participate annually that we are able to support local families during their hardest times.

We can't wait to do it all again next September! 🏌🏿‍♂️

A huge THANK YOU to the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring our Mini Golf Tournament at Parkside/Whispering Pines to benefit the Sunset House. 💙

It was a beautiful evening, with a fantastic turnout, lots of laughs, and a delicious dinner to cap it all off. 🌅🍽️
