Our next R&R workshop is up! This workshop is on Saturday, 1/10/26, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at Apricity Mind + Body Collective. Amanda Fite from FORM Integrative Health will be joining me to offer Reiki during the restorative poses.

As we move deeper into winter, a time made for contemplation & rest, this workshop will aim to offer just that. The combination of Restorative Yoga and Reiki will give you an opportunity to slow down, rest deeply, and feel more grounded. Amanda & I are excited and honored to offer you a space for rest, reflection, and support. ✨

This in-person workshop is on Saturday, 12/6, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at Apricity Mind + Body Collective. Amanda from FORM Integrative Health will be joining me to offer Reiki during the restorative poses.

This workshop will offer a combination of Restorative Yoga and Reiki to cultivate a space for you to slow down, rest, and find some balance. We’ll start the workshop with some gentle movement, then move through a series of supported yoga poses using a variety of props (blankets, straps, bolsters, blocks). We’ll use the props, some directed breathing techniques, and Reiki to encourage a state of balance and rest.

Here’s to welcoming in Autumn, a slower pace to our busy days…and restorative yoga. ✨ This in-person workshop is on Saturday, 10/25, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, at Apricity Mind + Body Collective. Space is limited.

In the workshop, you’ll practice the art of slowing down, listening in, and letting yourself feel supported enough to quiet your mind. We’ll start the workshop with some gentle movement then move through a series of supported yoga poses using a variety of props. We’ll use the props, visualization, and some directed breathing techniques to help guide you into a state of deep rest.

We’ve been lucky to have THE most beautiful weather for outdoor yoga the past two weeks… but Slow Flow got rained out tonight. To make up for it, I’m offering a pop-up class on the patio this Saturday, 6/21, at 8:30am. Join me to celebrate summer and the sun with a fun yoga flow! ✨☀️🩵

Outdoor yoga begins on Wednesday, 6/4! I’m in the midst of prepping and weeding at the patio. The ritual is extra special this year as I send thanks to Alana for having the idea to build it in the first place. We spent the summer of 2014 removing sod, leveling sand, lugging patio stone, putting up siding (and more!) to create our sweet little backyard sanctuary. It’s been witness to many yoga practices over the past 10 years—how wonderful to think of it. ✨✨✨

I invite you to practice again this year. Commune with yourself, your fellow yogis, the earth, the sun, and this beautiful season…

Yoga on the library lawn is just a week away! 🩵🌳☀️

This is a 4-week outdoor series that takes place the first four Fridays in August (8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23), from 6-6:45 PM. You do not need to attend every session. Description is below. Registration is through the library. Can’t wait to see you!

The Earth to Sky Series will explore connections between different areas of the body from the ground (earth) up (to sky!) to encourage movement options. We’ll map things out, including feet, hips, spine, ribs, shoulders, and neck, and study how these disparate parts are different but not separate.
 
The movement in this series will be taught through the lens of yoga asana (shapes that look a certain way on the outside) and some somatic techniques (what you perceive from the inside). We’ll also focus on other aspects of yoga including some breath awareness techniques, concentration, & meditation. We’ll come back to earth at the end of each class with some satisfying stretches and savasana (final resting pose) to allow for some integration and rest.
