The holidays end, school starts back up, work ramps up… and suddenly a lot of people are sick at the same time.

Not everyone can take off work.
Not everyone can sit in a waiting room during the week.
And not everyone needs the ER for something minor.

That’s why The Weekend Clinic exists.

We’re here to help people who need timely, appropriate care when weekday schedules make it hard to get simple medical care.
Open to everyone. Focused on doing what makes sense.

We’re excited to kick off the New Year by welcoming The Weekend Clinic to our Network!

Located in Ironton, OH, this nonprofit, after-hours medical clinic is dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate care to the uninsured and underinsured.

Staffed by experienced nurse practitioners and volunteers, The Weekend Clinic offers walk-in, low-cost medical services for minor illnesses, preventive care, and point-of-care testing — no insurance required. They’re here to fill the gap when other offices are closed, ensuring everyone in the community has a place to be heard and cared for.

Even though we’re only 8 months in, it already feels wild to say this out loud.

- Over 300 patients served.
- Over $90,000 in care provided.
- Countless conversations, follow-ups, and moments where people just needed someone to listen.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and supporting something a little different. Believe me, I know this is not your conventional clinic, but you all have made it work.

Good news for our community!

We’re offering free COVID-19 vaccines this Sunday especially for individuals 65 years and older, or adults with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness.

If you’re younger than 65 and healthy, you’re still welcome to stop by, and our clinicians can talk with you about whether it’s right for you.”

We’ll be offering them this Sunday during regular clinic hours.
You can schedule an appointment on our website (helps us plan!), but walk-ins are always welcome.

A lot of people don’t realize that The Weekend Clinic keeps a small supply of helpful medications on hand, including common antibiotics, blood pressure medications, and even injectable steroids.

We don’t have everything, and we never want to make promises we can’t keep.
But many times, we can treat you right here in the clinic without sending you anywhere else.

If you’re sick or worried and don’t know where to go, we’re here for you.

We know times are tough right now. The government shutdown has left a lot of families wondering when SNAP benefits will come through, and when paychecks will start up again.

That kind of uncertainty can make it hard to focus on anything else, especially your health.

You shouldn’t have to choose between putting food on the table and seeing a healthcare provider.

We can’t fix the shutdown, but we can help cover the healthcare side of things, completely free, no insurance or ID required.
