Behind every Sunday clinic is a team of volunteers.

These are just a few of the people who help make The Weekend Clinic possible. They are healthcare providers, students, and community members who donate their time so others can receive care, completely for free.

And this is only part of the team. Many more volunteers are part of this team and help behind the scenes but, haven’t had their picture taken yet.

The clinic works because people in this community are willing to show up for their neighbors.

We are SO BACK!

After being *pretty much* closed for the past two weeks, we are back in business!

We can't thank the community enough for the help through the weather and difficulties with the building.

When it rains, it pours… literally. 💧😅

Due to a water line break (actual water coming from the ceiling), The Weekend Clinic will be closed for in-person visits this Sunday while repairs are underway (Thank you Chris!). After last week’s weather closure, this one caught us off guard, but we’re adjusting so we can still help.

Good news: We are offering telehealth visits this weekend.

Important part: To keep things smooth and fair, all telehealth visits must be scheduled online ahead of time. No walk-ins, messages, or same-day add-ons outside the registration system.

We’re already working on repairs and fully plan to be back in the clinic next weekend, assuming the building behaves itself. Thanks for being flexible and supportive. We’re grateful for this community more than you know.

Weather Update for Our Community

With the winter storm approaching, The Weekend Clinic will be closed this Sunday to protect the safety of our patients and volunteers.

This decision is never made lightly, but we believe it’s the responsible choice given the forecast. We’ll be back as soon as conditions allow and will post updates here.

We see a lot of people hesitate coming in because they think there's a catch.

There isn't.

The Weekend Clinic sees everyone, for free. There are no residency requirements and no insurance requirements. Nobody gets billed, and everyone is welcome.

The holidays end, school starts back up, work ramps up… and suddenly a lot of people are sick at the same time.

Not everyone can take off work.
Not everyone can sit in a waiting room during the week.
And not everyone needs the ER for something minor.

That’s why The Weekend Clinic exists.

We’re here to help people who need timely, appropriate care when weekday schedules make it hard to get simple medical care.

We’re excited to kick off the New Year by welcoming The Weekend Clinic to our Network!

Located in Ironton, OH, this nonprofit, after-hours medical clinic is dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate care to the uninsured and underinsured.

Staffed by experienced nurse practitioners and volunteers, The Weekend Clinic offers walk-in, low-cost medical services for minor illnesses, preventive care, and point-of-care testing — no insurance required. They’re here to fill the gap when other offices are closed, ensuring everyone in the community has a place to be heard and cared for.

Even though we’re only 8 months in, it already feels wild to say this out loud.

- Over 300 patients served.
- Over $90,000 in care provided.
- Countless conversations, follow-ups, and moments where people just needed someone to listen.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and supporting something a little different. Believe me, I know this is not your conventional clinic, but you all have made it work.

We’re excited to see what the next year holds.
