As we approach the holiday season, we take time to reflect on how thankful we are for the continued support from our community, families, and friends throughout the year—especially during this special time. 🎄

We are pleased to share that ALL residents have been adopted for Christmas. Words cannot fully express our gratitude for the generosity shown through this year’s Christmas Adoption Event. In previous years, only a portion of our residents were adopted, making this year’s response truly remarkable. ❤️

We have also received several inquiries regarding our Annual Online Christmas Auction, which will begin November 26th and conclude on December 3rd. Proceeds from this event will help support our residents’ Christmas Party, last-minute gifts, and trip to Southern Lights. 🎁

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who continues to support our mission of making the holidays bright for our residents. Your kindness and commitment makes all the difference. ❤️

Thanksgiving Celebration - Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation

As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to begin planning our Thanksgiving celebration! We will be hosting a special Thanksgiving Dinner for residents and their families on November 20th. Our Activities Department will be reaching out soon with additional details.

Our residents had a wonderful time in Cooking Club today as we whipped up a true Appalachian treat — Soupbean Cakes! 🫘✨

There were smiles all around as we mixed, cooked, and of course, sampled this delicious bit of mountain tradition. Nothing brings people together quite like good food and great company! Not too many pictures today, we were having too much fun ❤️

🌟 Community Food Drive at Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 🌟

In light of the recent government shutdown and the challenges many families are facing, Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be hosting a Food Drive to help support those in need. ❤️

This is our way of giving back to the community that gives so much to us. We invite everyone to join us in lending a helping hand — every donation, big or small, makes a difference! These items will be placed in the community blessing boxes throughout the county.

We LOVE having our community, churches, and families involved with our seniors! ❤️

If you plan to volunteer for an event, singing group, Christmas caroling, or any other activity, please contact our Activity Director, Meranda Noble, at (606) 723-5153 or text/call (606) 250-8813 to get added to the schedule. This helps us ensure staff are available to assist with resident transport and setup.

We’re now booking for December, including Christmas caroling, crafts, and more festive activities — and spots are filling up fast! 🎄

Thank you all for the love, time, and joy you share with our residents and activities department. We truly appreciate your continued support and involvement!

🎃👻 We had a spooktacular day here at Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center!

We started with a fun game of Pumpkin Chunkin’, got dressed up with costumes and face paint, then enjoyed a Halloween party full of our residents’ favorite snacks, a costume contest, and plenty of candy for our trick-or-treaters! 🍬🕸️
