Growth and development are amazing goals that I fully stand in support of. Part of that growth though is to stop running. Whether you’re running away from something or towards something - your mind is everywhere but here, where it needs you most.

Sustainability is sexy 💃 the best way to achieve something is to do is sustainably so that you can maintain without the burnout.

As humans, we experience and interpret the world around us based off of our own lived experiences.

No matter how hard you try, no matter which ways you shape-shift, people will experience you the way their life has wired them to.

I encourage you to find your own moral compass, honor your own values and expectations, access your own joy, validate your own pain, and live in this body for yourself.

You are worthy of goodness and safety, you don’t have to earn it.

What if you feel flawed because you’re trying to be someone you’re not meant to be?

What if you feel flawed because you’re rejecting parts of your story that matter to your existence?

What if you feel flawed because you’re rejecting the very things that make you, you?

What if you feel flawed because you’re always chasing the “better” or “healed” version of yourself?

How often do you get to exist as yourself in the truest form?

To my, “I got it” - “I can do it” - “I don’t need help” - “let me help you” - “what can I do for you” - “let me do it for you” -

my Caretakers of emotions and sometimes more.

It’s often a role that was established as a child within the family system.

There will always be people that need you, but them needing you isn’t supposed to overlook you needing yourself and accepting support from others.

When constantly living in this state, it becomes a form of validation.
“As long as you need me to support you, I have purpose, I matter to you, you love me.”

I’m here to softly remind you that you are supposed to need people too.
People are also supposed to care for you…this also requires you to let them.

…letting them care for you sometimes has to be a learned experience in adulthood.

Abandoning yourself and your needs to put the fires out around you doesn’t make you more lovable or worthy of a healthy love.

It’s okay if you feel lost, you are never the same version of yourself that you once were.

You are always becoming.

Always becoming the next version of yourself, always facing new challenges and unexpected turns.

It doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it doesn’t mean you’re not where you’re supposed to be.

It means you’re exactly where you’re meant to be right now - what do you need to learn in order to grow into the version of you that tomorrow holds?

There is not finish line, you will become different versions of yourself as each day goes by no matter what.

Let it be a good thing 🤍
