In the Give the Gift of Sight month, we raise awareness about the importance of eye health, regular eye check-ups, and taking care of our eyes.

Some lifestyle tips for better eye health include: protecting your eyes with UV protection, eating a vision friendly diet, taking breaks from screens, and staying hydrated.

This Geographic Atrophy Week, we’re helping raise awareness about the advanced form of dry age-related macular degeneration that can lead to progressive vision loss. Regular eye exams and early detection help protect sight.

Symptoms include difficulty seeing the detail in your central vision, a dim or dark spot in your central vision, trouble seeing in low light, needing a lot of extra light to read, dull or washed out images or colors. Regular eye exams can detect the condition early and prescribe treatment to help slow the progression.
