Grateful to be able to eat a healthy balanced meal. My wish is that everyone should be able to afford to do so but unfortunately that is not the case especially now. When I go grocery shopping and get larger quantities of items that I know may spoil my first thought is who can I share them with. My neighbors are so good to me and we help support one another whenever we can. We should all help one another. This government shutdown is an embarrassment and we should all demand better of those officials who have been elected to serve their districts no matter what. It’s long overdue!!!🙏💔

Trick or Treat? That is the million dollar question. Past history I would have eaten all in one day. Today I am older and wiser and savor each bite over weeks instead of days. Dinner tonight reminds me when we used to go to Grandpa Solly’s house every Friday night and would have delicious fried Sole. So tonight I have made 2 different Wild Caught Sole’s with Tilamook cheese and Slivered Almonds, and roasted butternut squash, Brussel Sprouts, green beans, cauliflower mash and roasted zucchini, yellow squash and mini assorted potatoes.
