It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Robin Steinberg-Epstein in December 2025. Dr. Steinberg-Epstein was an HS Clinical Professor and Division Chief of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at UC Irvine School of Medicine.
For more than two decades, Dr. Steinberg-Epstein dedicated her life to improving the lives of children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral challenges. As a developmental-behavioral pediatrician at the UCI Health Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders, she touched countless lives with her expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her patients and their families.
In recognition of Dr. Steinberg-Epstein's remarkable contributions, her family has established The Dr. Robin Steinberg-Epstein Memorial Endowment. This endowment will support programs that help adolescents and young adults navigate the transition to adulthood, including the PEERS, Social Skills, and Transition to Adulthood programs, in perpetuity.
Every gift made to the Dr. Robin Steinberg-Epstein Memorial Endowment Fund from January 29 through December 31, 2026 will be matched 2:1, up to $33,000, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
