You don’t have to navigate your child’s health alone.

There are so many tools, perspectives, and resources available to help families raise healthy, thriving kids — and sometimes it simply starts with learning together.

One of my favorite parts of running The Hive is creating space for conversations like this.

Pregnancy asks your body to adapt quickly.

As your baby grows, your pelvis, muscles, and nervous system are constantly adjusting to support that change.

When those adaptations happen smoothly, many moms feel more comfortable as pregnancy progresses. When things feel a little off balance, it can show up as tension in the hips, low back, or pelvis.

That’s why many moms choose to have their alignment and movement patterns checked early — not because something is wrong, but to support their body adapting well.

Every pregnancy is different, and support can make that transition feel much easier.

It’s completely normal for parents to feel nervous the first time they see care for a baby.

Most people imagine something forceful or intense — but care for infants is actually incredibly gentle and specific.

In many cases, babies experience tension from the way they adapted during pregnancy or birth. Supporting their nervous system early can help their bodies settle and adapt more comfortably.

Every baby is different, and every family deserves to feel informed and confident in their decisions.

Many moms struggle to explain what feels “off” after birth.

It may not be pain.
It may look more like fatigue, emotional overwhelm, poor sleep, or a constant sense of tension.

What many women don’t realize is that pregnancy and birth ask a lot from the nervous system. If the body stays stuck in survival mode afterward, healing can feel slow and frustrating.

This is why postpartum support matters.

At The Hive, our BeeLine to Motherhood program doesn’t stop at birth. We continue working with moms through the postpartum phase to help the body regulate, recover, and adapt to this new season of motherhood.

Because feeling like yourself again isn’t about rushing your body.

It’s about giving it the support it needs to heal.

Why can tummy time be harder for some babies?

For many babies, tummy time simply feels like a big new challenge for their developing bodies.

Sometimes it’s because their little muscles are still learning how to work together. Other times, babies may be holding tension from how they adapted during pregnancy or the birth process.

When the body feels tight or uncomfortable, babies naturally resist positions that require more effort — and tummy time can be one of them.

The good news is that when babies gain more comfort and mobility, tummy time often becomes much easier.

Supporting balanced movement early can help babies explore their environment more freely.

Some appointments come with a built-in helper. 💛

One of the things families love most about The Hive is that kids don’t have to sit quietly in the corner while mom or dad gets care.

They climb up, ask questions, watch what’s happening, and sometimes become the official “adjustment assistant.”

Because when families take care of themselves together, kids grow up understanding that caring for their health is normal — not something you only do when something hurts.

Just another sweet moment inside The Hive. 🐝

Are you a birth worker in DFW? This might be your sign. 🐝

At The Hive, we’re intentionally building a trusted referral network of providers who care deeply about supporting moms, babies, and families.

If you’re a doula, midwife, lactation consultant, pelvic floor PT, perinatal therapist, craniosacral therapist, or women’s health provider, we’d love to connect. We believe families thrive when providers collaborate and support one another.

We’re also hosting small gatherings, socials, and networking events so aligned providers can meet, connect, and build meaningful referral relationships.

If you’d like to be part of the network or join us for an upcoming event, send us a DM with the word “HIVE.” 🐝

Let’s grow something beautiful together.
