This reel is a sequel to all the spinach, kale, and celery juice questions that came in recently...

Many of you asked me:
โ€œIf drinking green juice every day isnโ€™t idealโ€ฆ what should we actually drink?โ€
So I recorded this.
Because one of the most common โ€œhealthy mistakesโ€ I see today is people drinking the same green juice every single day โ€” assuming that more greens automatically means better health.
But nutrition doesnโ€™t work that wayโ€ฆ

When the same greens are repeated daily, it can unintentionally increase oxalate load, disrupt mineral balance, and place unnecessary strain on digestion.
And this isnโ€™t rare.
Iโ€™m seeing it more and more as green juices become a daily ritual in many households.
This isnโ€™t about avoiding greens!!
Greens are incredibly powerful foods.
But they work best when rotated.

Instead of repeating the same juice, I follow a simple 5-part smoothie structure that:

If you switched to Himalayan pink salt because it seemed like the smarter, cleaner choice. Listen up...

After Spinach, Letโ€™s Talk About Kale
Kale is widely considered a โ€œsuperfood.โ€ Because itโ€™s so nutrient-dense, many people assume it must also be ideal in green juice.
But thatโ€™s where a common healthy mistake happens.
Raw kale contains goitrogenic compounds that can interfere with iodine utilization โ€” particularly when concentrated in juice or cleanses.
This is especially relevant for individuals with hypothyroidism, Hashimotoโ€™s, or low iodine status.
Kale isnโ€™t unhealthy.
Itโ€™s simply more appropriate steamed or sautรฉed.
Nutrient density does not automatically equal universal suitability.

Spinach isnโ€™t โ€œbadโ€ โ€” but in juice form, oxalates become concentrated.

And so I would recommend beet greens, arugula, and parsley instead. They are lower in oxalates, easier on digestion, and support better mineral utilization.

Spinach is often considered the healthiest green โ€” but when itโ€™s juiced, oxalates become concentrated and easier to overconsume.
In susceptible individuals, that may interfere with iron absorption or irritate digestion โ€” especially with low ferritin, IBS, or kidney stone history.
Spinach isnโ€™t bad.
Itโ€™s just not always the best green in juice form.
