Shawn is an integral part of our nursing team. She has been a CNA for 30 long years and has been working at Las Brisas for 3 plus years. She is dedicated, empathetic and passionate about her work.
She is the mother of 7 kids and a grandma of 10 kids with 1 on the way. She loves to sing, dance and meet new people in her spare time.

The residents at Las Brisas had a pumpkin decorating contest today. They all did a beautiful job but one resident got the most votes. He was awarded a ceremonial caramel apple. A little later in the day, while the weather was nice, we all went outside for an apple cider float. It is a new recipe that everyone tried and enjoyed.

We’re excited to announce that our Trunk or Treat event is tomorrow from 4-6pm. This fun, family-friendly celebration is a great way for us to connect with our community and enjoy some Halloween spirit together. Bring your little ones. Also, there will be costume contest and lots of candy to share.
Portion of the parking spots(admission area) will be closed off starting at 1 pm tomorrow to prepare for the event.

What beautiful landscaping! The YMSL team did an awesome job in planning, designing, and creating a marvelous garden space for us. Roses, kale, pansies, jasmine and a big oak tree to give shade to our residents. An amazing 2 days project with 25-30 people paid OFF at the end.
Thanks a ton Young Men Senior League!! for giving our seniors a beautiful garden.
