We are excited to be offering the Trauma Process Yoga Group starting March 13th at 6:00PM.

This is a 12 week Therapy Group whic can be billed to insurance, funded by VCAP, or can be paid with cash at $40 per session.

This is a drop in group and does not require weekly participation or communicating your attendance, but there will be a roster to prevent there being too many people on any given day.

There will be enough spots for 8-10 people max.

This first session will be an 18 and older group, but we would love to have some different group populations (kids, women only, men, LGBTQ+) as well if the interest/need is there.

More info about Trauma Process Yoga Group:

-Each round consists of 12 sessions

-Each session is 60-90 minutes long and is ran by a therapist and yoga instructor

-½ of the session is therapy (psychoeducational, processing, grounding)

-½ of the session is yoga and movement

-All levels of mobility are able to participate

-We will provide yoga equipment, but please feel free to bring your own

-There will be water and bathroom access

-This is a therapy group and is confidential

If you are interested in being on the roster to participate in this group, email us. Also, for therapists and people interested in doing the yoga portion of this group, we will be hosting a training on March 13th and 14th.

Hi friends- I'm taking over the Mind & Body page for a minute to introduce myself!
I’m Carolyn Confer (she/her), a clinical social worker (LCSW) offering therapy for folks navigating chronic/terminal illness, grief, caregiving, and major life transitions. I’ve completed an EMDRIA approved EMDR training and EMDR can be thoughtfully incorporated into our work if it feels like a supportive next step. My approach centers on meeting you where you are—you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Just bring yourself, and that’s where we can start.

In my free time you can find me driving tiny humans around, worrying about the fall of democracy, enjoying live music and travel when I can, snuggling any dog (including my own!), and trying to figure out my garden!
