✨ What a powerful day at the Westmoreland County Youth Transition Conference at the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit! ✨

On April 15th, our team from Achieving True Self had the honor of presenting four sessions and hosting a vendor table at the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit—connecting with students, families, and professionals all focused on building meaningful futures.

💬 Led by (L to R in photo 📸)
• Catherine Hughes, Director of Family Support & Community Engagement
• Sharon Greene, Clinical Supervisor of Adult Behavior Support & Habilitation Services & Nationally Certified Olweus Trainer

Together, they presented:
➡️ Passing the Torch
➡️ Your Next Chapter
➡️ Protecting Yourself From Adult Bullies
➡️ Creating Successful Outcomes

Each session centered on empowering individuals with the tools, confidence, and support needed to navigate the transition into adulthood.

We also loved connecting with attendees at our vendor table, sharing more about our Transition & Adult Services and how we support individuals in building independent, fulfilling lives. 💙

Thank you to Westmoreland Intermediate Unit for hosting such an impactful event—and to everyone who stopped by to learn, share, and grow with us!

Thank you to Emily Herndon, BCBA for hosting an ATS table (complete with prizes 🧸🧩⚽️for our little friends!) at the Unlocked Potential Sensory-Friendly Touch a Truck event last Saturday in Fairmont, WV! The event was designed to gather families in a quiet and safe space to explore emergency vehicles and become familiar with their local first responders. Agencies like ours were on-site to provide information and giveaways to event guests.
