🌿 First Friday Art Walk
November 7 | 5:30–8:00 PM
202 E Division St, Ishpeming

The Woven Path Art Therapy Studio is excited to be part of the Ishpeming First Friday Art Walk again this month! The space will be transformed into a cozy gallery for the evening, featuring the beautiful work of Carrie Grishaber, an NMU graduate and true lover of the Upper Peninsula 💛

✨ About the Artist
“This collection is designed to bring the psychological comfort of the wilderness indoors. Just as the forest absorbs chaos, these pieces capture that restorative stillness. Each piece uses sustainably sourced and preserved mosses, lichen, and other natural materials to capture the texture and spirit of a northern forest floor.
I hope these works serve as tiny, vibrant windows into the tranquility of the deep woods, offering a moment of stillness and a reminder of the artistry found just outside our doors.” -Carrie

We hope you’ll stop by Friday evening to experience the warmth and calm of this collection in person! 🌲

This is a glimpse of some of the art from week 5 of our Art Therapy for Therapists group. The theme was Boundaries.

As therapists, we step into others’ stories every day. Sometimes they echo our own, or the collective weight of our communities. This week’s art practice invited us to notice the edges and overlaps that arise in therapy space.

These watercolor explorations reflect what it means to stay open and steady, to hold space for others while staying connected to ourselves. 💛
