political grief can feel heavy, consuming, and endless… and still small moments of joy matter.

making art without an agenda.
petting your dog a little longer.
watching the sky change colors at sunset.
letting yourself enjoy a treat without guilt.

these micro joys don’t erase the grief, but they help us survive it. they remind our nervous systems that beauty and safety still exist.

you’re not disengaged.
you’re human.
and rest is part of resistance.

The group is facilitated by licensed art therapist Amy Rynn, LPC, ATR-BC, and includes optional creative expression alongside guided discussion. No art experience is necessary and art materials will be provided.

Cost: Sliding scale $5–$20 per person
We believe access to creative support should be flexible and inclusive. Please choose the rate that feels sustainable for you.

One of the best parts of my weekend 💛
These looms belong to 8 different makers in the weaving workshop after two classes!! They are all learning the same skills, and yet every piece looks completely unique. Different colors, rhythms, textures, and stories showing up on the loom.

I’m so grateful for this group and the space we’ve shared together.

I truly hope to continue offering weaving workshops like this. There is something really special about slowing down, working with our hands, and making art side by side 🧶✨

A reminder as we head into the weekend:
Self-care doesn’t have to be big. And resting counts as self-care!

Your self-care doesn’t have to be productive or impressive, it just has to support you.

May you give yourself permission to rest, play, and tend to yourself in whatever way you need.
