Last night, we said our final farewell to our beloved DW, just shy of his 34th birthday. He was fortunate enough to live his last 2 years in retirement with his herd mates, grazing in a pasture without having to wear his cribbing collar! DW came to Pal-O-Mine when he was 8 years old from our dear friend, Richie Fisher and as life would have it, as the stars align, DW will now be reunited with Richie as we come up on Richie's anniversary in 5 days.

Thank you to all who loved DW and shared something special with him...he truly was one of the greats, a horse that could do everything with everyone.

We love you D!❤️

When it comes to snow days at Pal-O-Mine, it's all hands on deck from the CEO to Luca, our Great Pyrenees ...making sure the herd is fed, hydrated and safe.

Pal-O-Mine recently hosted a book signing event for Kassandra Facey, whose book “A Horse Called Dreamer” tells the moving story of the life-changing bond between a young woman and the horse who inspires her to live her dreams. The book was inspired by Kacey’s experiences as one of Pal-O-Mine’s students. To purchase the book, visit the Holiday Shoppe at our main office, 829 Old Nichols Road, Islandia. Congratulations Kassandra!

Pal-O-Mine Strong! Our vocational training program for young adults, called J-STEP (for Job Security Through Equine Partnership), is made possible through donations by caring organizations like the Nassau County AHRC Foundation, headed up by Mary McNamara (pictured below, left, with Pal-O-Mine’s Founder and CEO Lisa Gatti). To learn more about J-STEP, click below. Thank you AHRC and also Able News for covering the story!
