Three cheers for our wonderful staff!
Washington State Department of Health just recognized our facility with its Gold Award for vaccination. More than 90% of our staff were vaccinated against Covid-19 before September 30th. It's one more way we show that the safety and health of our residents and our colleagues is a top priority.

Issaquah Nursing & Rehab staff among most vaccinated in state.

Brighter days have come to our facility. Mother's Day was a wonderful celebration. Each female resident received a wrist corsage and a card from local Girl Scouts troop # 43516, troop #45382, and troop #46111 who have been so kind and generous to us. Thank you!
Additionally, this past week we made a quilt of many colors to represent the diversity of our experiences and the richness we bring into each others' lives. Gratitude and appreciation are all around.
We're looking forward to a weekend of sunshine, fresh air, and for many some time outside enjoying nature on our grounds.

Our facility is warm, cozy and filled with hope thanks to a successful vaccine roll-out.

Issaquah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is part of the Federal Pharmacy Partnership program. We are working with CVS Pharmacy to provide vaccinations.

The first Covid-19 vaccine shots were given to residents and staff on January 14th. The CVS team is visiting again Thursday, February 4th to administer second shots. CVS is also providing a third clinic on Thursday, February 25th for staff or residents who were unable to attend previous vaccination clinics, including residents who recently arrived.

We are impressed with the care team from CVS. They are well-staffed, well-prepared, and excellent in performing the vaccinations.

Please continue to stay in touch. The residents love hearing from you, receiving letters, and they enjoy window visits.

Things are looking up.

Our facility is awaiting the Covid-19 vaccine. We are excited to partner with CVS Pharmacy and public health agencies to create an on-site vaccination plan for residents and frontline staff. In the meantime, we are celebrating 240 days of no Covid-19 in our facility.

The holiday spirit is all around. This past weekend brought window visits from Santa Claus and friends on Saturday and Sunday. Issaquah Mayor Mary Lou Pauly came for window visits and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. And, the Downtown Issaquah Association delivered boxes of seasonal pastries from Forest Fairy Bakery. Inside, we’ve decked the halls and greeting cards are starting to arrive. Our dining services team is cooking up a traditional holiday dinner for Christmas Day.

Residents love hearing from family and friends. If you haven’t already, please slip that holiday card in the mail. Please drop-off gifts by Monday, December 21st so that we have plenty of time to organize and deliver packages to your loved one. If you miss the gift drop deadline, don’t worry. Please just give us a call at 425-391-1271 and we’ll make arrangements to get presents to your loved one.
