🌿Meet the amazing people behind the scenes! In our Staff Spotlight series, we’re highlighting the incredible team members who make everything happen. This month we have the AMAZING Caroline Gray!

Question 1: What inspired you to become a OT?
I volunteered to help at the Special Olympics back in 2017 as a photographer and ended up spending so much quality time with all the kiddos! I knew I wanted to help and work with kids and families from that point on!

Question 2: What’s your favorite part about working with your team or clients?
My favorite part about working with the team at ETS is how welcoming and supportive everyone is! If I’m having a rough day, I know my co-workers will lift me up and put a smile on my face or make me laugh! The best part about working with my clients is how much fun we have! Being able to incorporate play into work really does make this the best job on earth!

Question 3:What’s something fun or interesting about you outside of work?
Outside of work I have recently picked up a new hobby of building lego sets with my husband! I also like going to spend my day by the water (lake, river, beach, etc), I find it super relaxing! A fun fact about me is that I have congenital anosmia (aka I was born with no sense of smell!)

Caroline is known by her team as being kind, and just a wonderful therapist! In her sessions she has a fun and easy going child lead approach and is able to address goals in a very systematic and meaningful way. The progress of the clients she works with speaks volumes about what a wonderful person and therapist she is!

We have some exciting news to share! 💛

Our wonderful Service Coordinator, Madison Goertz, will be heading out on maternity leave as she prepares to welcome her sweet new little one. We are so happy for her and can’t wait to meet her baby! 🧸✨

While Madison is away, Tayler Carlson will be stepping into the Service Coordinator role. Tayler brings so much positivity, dedication, and care to our team, and we know you’ll love working with her just as much. 💕

Please join us in wishing Madison all the best on her maternity leave and giving Tayler a warm welcome as she steps into this role! 🌼🌟

🌿Meet the amazing people behind the scenes! In our Staff Spotlight series, we’re highlighting the incredible team members who make everything happen. This month we have the AMAZING Max Simpkins!

Question 1: What inspired you to become a CBT?
My experience working in EMS and as a camp counselor motivated me to pursue a path where I can support children in developing important behavioral skills. EMS taught me to stay calm under pressure and provide care in challenging situations, while counseling gave me the opportunity to guide kids in building social and behavioral strengths.

Question 2: What’s one accomplishment you’re especially proud of?
I solo backed packed 22 countries in Europe

Question 3: What brought you to ETS?
Honestly, it came down to a bit of luck and a job application I stumbled upon on Indeed.

Max is a truly wonderful BT who I had the pleasure of working with when he first started at ETS. Max has a really calming presence and is great at building relationships with kids and adults. He works really well as part of a team and jumps right in when something unexpected happens. I also appreciate his sense of humor.

🎉 Big Cheers for Our K-Prep Grads! 🎓

We’ve been all smiles and happy tears as we celebrated our Kindergarten Prep (K-Prep) friends wrapping up an incredible year!

K-Prep is one of our comprehensive autism program for kids ages 3–6, designed to build school readiness skills through play, connection, creativity, and personalized learning — and the outcomes have been amazing.
From mastering new skills to building beautiful friendships, these little legends have come so far. 💪 We’re SO proud of every single one of them — and beyond excited to see them take their next steps into Kindergarten! 🚀📚

🌸Gillman Village Easter Egg Hunt🐰
Gillman Village is hosting it’s annual easter egg hunt this Saturday! There will be a scavenger hunt with a fun little prize at the end AND there may even be an easter bunny to say hello to 🐰 😊. Hop on over for a hoppin’ good time.

🐐✨ Meet Our New Therapy Goats: Eloise & Marti! ✨🐐

We’re thrilled to introduce two very special members of the Eastside Therapy Services team—Eloise and Marti, our adorable therapy goats! These cuties will be working alongside our team to help kiddos develop valuable skills through animal-assisted therapy. 🧡

Incorporating goats into our therapy sessions allows children to learn important social and emotional skills, like:

- Building trust and empathy
- Increasing focus and motivation
- Improving communication and social interaction
- Strengthening patience and emotional regulation

Eloise and Marti are excited to join us on this fun and unique journey to support kids in learning and growing in new ways!

🌧️ Progress Update: The recent storm brought our whole area some unexpected challenges! We are so grateful that our sweet animals and building were safe and sound. Our outdoor area took quite the hit and our recovery process is underway! 🐐🐓💚

Our team is already dreaming up creative ways to make our outdoor space even better than before. 💡✨ Stay tuned for updates!
