⁉️A lot of big emotions in kids come from thoughts that feel very certain, very permanent, or very personal.
“They don’t like me.”
“I ruined everything.”
✅Thought flipping isn’t about positive thinking or talking kids out of their feelings. It’s about helping them loosen the thought that’s driving the emotion and realize there’s more than one way to understand what’s happening.
🤗When the thought softens, the feeling often becomes more manageable. Not gone. Just smaller. And that pause matters.
