Skin cancer doesn’t always look scary at first. This spot on the side of his head turned out to be squamous cell carcinoma, one of the most common types of skin cancer.
Today it was removed using Mohs surgery — a precise procedure where the doctor removes the cancer layer by layer and checks it under a microscope until all the cancer cells are gone. The “before” and “after” pictures show the process and why early detection matters.
We’re grateful it was caught and treated. Let this be your reminder to wear sunscreen, get skin checks, and don’t ignore spots that change, bleed, or won’t heal. 🤍
