Today we recognize Epilepsy Awareness Day, a day dedicated to understanding, visibility, and standing with the millions of people living with epilepsy.
The color purple was chosen for epilepsy awareness by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Nova Scotia who lived with epilepsy and wanted to help bring comfort and courage to other kids like her. Linked with calm and compassion, purple represents care, understanding, and hope for individuals with epilepsy and the families who support them.
At Challenge Workforce Solutions, we are committed to building environments where individuals feel supported, respected, and empowered to succeed. Awareness days like today reinforce our dedication to inclusion, advocacy, and ensuring people of all abilities are seen, heard, and valued in the workplace and beyond. We are proud to show our support and reaffirm our belief that understanding creates opportunity. 💜
