Besuch beim LKV Niedersachsen in Leer 🐄🔬

Ende Januar durften wir besonderen Besuch in Leer begrüßen:
Am 30.01.2026 waren drei Vertreter führender US-Organisationen der Milchkontrolle zu Gast in in den Laboren in Leer und Verden.

Mit dabei waren:
🇺🇸 Jay Mattison, Geschäftsführer von National DHIA – dem amerikanischen Dachverband der Milchkontrollorganisationen
🇺🇸 John Gloss, COO von Dairy One (Ithaca, New York), einer der größten Milchkontrollorganisationen in den USA
🇺🇸 Chris Lawrence, Laborleiter bei Dairy One

Während ihres Europabesuchs, unter anderem für eine Demonstration eines neuen Probenahmegeräts in Dänemark sowie eine iCOW-Vorstandssitzung in Verden, nutzten sie die Gelegenheit, mehrere Labore mit automatisierter Milchuntersuchung zu besichtigen.

In den Laboren erhielten sie Einblicke in unsere Abläufe, Technologien und die Organisation der Milchleistungsprüfung.

Der Besuch zeigt einmal mehr: Milchkontrolle und Labordiagnostik sind international vernetzt und der Austausch über Ländergrenzen hinweg bringt wertvolle Impulse für die Weiterentwicklung der Branche.
