Just to keep our community inspired, The Caring Cabinet is making a real difference. My Co-op student and I are diligently keeping inventory on a daily basis. If anyone has a desire to donate, you are more than welcome to drop off items at the office and we will ensure it gets put in the cabinet on a daily basis. I attached a recommended list. Hat & gloves have already been put in it & they were received with gratitude, like other items.

With the invaluable support of friends, family, community members, and service clubs, including the Ithaca Gleaners and Ithaca Rotary Club, which provided the inspiration to establish The Caring Cabinet, I am pleased to announce its launch. The cabinet was set up this morning beside my office, located at 145 E Center St in the alley, coinciding perfectly with Santa's arrival downtown at 5pm. Merry Christmas Ithaca!

Charlea Beetley, Staff Accountant, and Ali Barnes, Principal, were honored to present a check to Sue Malone, President of the Women's Resource Center of MidMichigan’s in Alma. The WRC empowers women by providing professional attire and confidence-building support as they work toward stronger financial, social, and personal stability.

These funds will help the center update its building to better meet ADA standards, improve safety and energy efficiency, and continue serving the community. 💛

Do you know someone who requires assistance at home? Selecting a reputable local agency with over 20 years of experience can address concerns and questions with a 5-star rating. It is crucial to ask questions when choosing a Home Care Agency for your loved one. Are caregivers employed directly or contracted? It is vital to work with an agency that pays taxes and insurances for safety reasons and to follow State guidelines. Do employees receive a W-2 at year-end and a bi-weekly paycheck? Are caregivers covered by worker’s compensation and liability insurance? Are they background-checked, bonded, and insured? Where is the home care office located? Are private policies and procedures followed? Feel free to contact us at 989-875-7405 for any questions and for all your home care needs. Proudly serving Gratiot, Isabella, Montcalm and some of Saginaw and Clinton Counties. We are private pay as well as working with the State of Michigan Medicaid home-based waiver programs.
