🙏 Community Showing Up in a Big Way on Friday and Saturday .

We want to give a huge shout-out to The Bridge of Burnsville for stepping up and loving on our staff in a real and meaningful way. Through The Bridge partnership with Eight Days of Hope, they generously donated 120 hot meals!!

Many of our employees are still without power and have lost all of the food in their homes. Because of this incredible act of kindness, our staff were able to take hot meals home tonight and feed their families. That kind of support goes far beyond a meal …it brings relief, encouragement, and hope when it’s needed most.

A special thank you to Diane Rodgers and Geneva Huggins with The Bridge of Burnsville for coordinating this effort and for always showing up for your calling!

This is what community looks like. 💙

Minister
We are excited about a new ministry at TCLC.
It's a prayer ministry that we want the community and TCLC to be a part of. The Ministry is called ONE.
ONE is a prayer ministry for residents and the community. ONE resident, ONE room, ONE year. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness makes the biggest difference. This year, we invite everyone to join us in a simple but powerful commitment to pray for our residents, their rooms, and everyone who enters their room. We will also take names from the community for the residents to pray for you.
How will this be done? I will use numbers instead of names. There will be no way for anyone to know the residents they are praying for. For example, resident room 100 may be number 22. It will be set up so that no one but Pam Gray LCC will know who is praying for what residents and what resident is praying for you. For more information or to commit to the ONE Ministry to pray for a year, contact Pam Gray at 662-423-3422 or leave a message in the comments with a number you would like. Also, leave your name if you would like a resident to pray for you for ONE year.
Ps. 71:9 Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.
Pick a number from 1-73 for a resident.
Please only request a number on TCLC page.

We at TCLC are experiencing internet issues due to the weather, unfortunately our phone system is connected in with our internet service to the facility. We want to assure everyone that all of the residents are fine and well taken care of, the staff have put in tiresome hours making sure the residents needs are met. Any family members are welcome to reach out to any of our staff members or on messenger if needed to inquire about your loved one. We are all thankful that the storm has passed and our residents are safe and warm. Our IT team is aware and in the process of getting us back up and running hopefully by the morning. We pray everyone stays safe and warm in the days to come.

Tonight, as I was leaving work, I heard a staff member hollering at me, pointing at another staff member, saying look we are twinning tonight. They had on purple shirts under their blue uniforms, of course to stay warm on this cold wintery night. I had to get their picture.
Having fun while you work makes it all worth while.
These two staff members like so many of our TCLC staff members loves to joke around with each other and with the residents .

TCLC wishes everyone a warm happy week. Winter is here, stay warm.
