Hippity Hoppity Easter is on its way. Today starts the beginning of our Easter festivities, kicked off by a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who spread sunshine while hopping throughout the hallways. In the coming days, we'll participate in various Easter events, but for now, we're grateful for the Easter Bunny's visit. A big thank you to Natalie and Jessica with Gentiva Hospice for making this happen, and to Ms. Kate for joining in on the fun. Last but not least, thanks to Brandon Perkins with Gentiva Hospice for hopping around and visiting everyone.
The smiles and the kiss is worth it all.

Today has been a totally normal Tuesday for the residents but a fun day with several activities. Here are a few pictures from the day. We had the Hen party luncheon this morning, the Rooster club this afternoon and the educational S.N.O.W.S. Club late afternoon. We hope you enjoy the pictures.

What a beautiful day to pursue one's dreams on horseback, and that is precisely what a resident of TCLC, Mr. Joe Cummings, did. Mr. Cummings, affectionately known as Cowboy Joe, has a profound love for horses. His family's legacy of owning horses and donkeys nurtured his enthusiasm from a tender age, cultivating a lifelong aspiration. He is always dressed in western attire, complete with a cowboy belt buckle, and a bolo. He shared that he has always had always rode donkeys but wanted to ride a horse. Cowboy Joe was eager to share this experience with his close friend and fellow resident at TCLC, Ms. Tina Moon, and be apart of this special event. Heartfelt thank you to STANDING OAK STABLES and MR. SHANE EVETTS for making this dream come true. Also thank you to Charlotte Nunley for her kindness in driving us today and to Stacy Micheals, nurse and Medical Records, for being our photographer.

We had an awesome morning yesterday at TCLC. We had delicious treats, we had a blast, and enjoyed fellowship time. Thanks so much to Gentiva Hospice for a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration; we also enjoyed watching a TV show of Irish dancing and listening to Irish music.

This morning, a balloon was floating around in the facility, and I suggested we track it. Throughout the day, residents and staff reported its location, and I would hear look here it is. Steve Sullivan named it Fred.I took photos along with Mary Barnes, CNA. We have had fun keeping up with its location today.

Wednesday morning fun with a small crew. We were on a magazine scavenger hunt that guaranteed to spark some serious excitement and competition. We had fun now it’s your turn, I’ve posted our list, do something different today and have a blast searching for these words wherever you roam. Please share your findings with us and let us know how many words you managed to track down today and let's celebrate the thrill of the hunt together.

This afternoon the Rooster Club and the Hen Party decided to meet together for an afternoon Nachos Social. A lot of clucking and crowing going on before the snacks were served.
Friday, food, fun and fellowship go together, have a great weekend.
