Pretty pup alert! This is HONEY 🍯. we named her that because she is sweet as honey!
Honey came into the shelter as a stray and no one came for her. We can't imagine why as this girl sure lives up to her name!
Honey is a good girl, and she can be very shy at first but give her a chance and she opens right up. She loves human interaction and soaks up all your love, and pets.
Honey also loves her treats! She takes them gently from your hands and she will give little kisses to say thank you.
Honey is located in an end kennel with lot's of traffic passing by. She doesn't seem to mind all the people and pups who pass by her kennel and remains quiet and calm.
She is a smart girl and is eager to please, she know sit, and she's gentle and good on a leash. She is very attentive and we know she will be easy to train and quick to learn new commands. She definitely wants to please and listens well.
Honey is hoping that you will give her a chance to show you just what a great dog she can be. Please don't pass the shy one's by. The shelter is a scary place for any dog especially younger ones. Please give her that chance. At just 8 months old she has a lifetime of love to give her new family! Come meet her, no appt is needed. Our shelter is FULL and all are considered urgent due to lack of space! This is just a 3 day week due to the Thanksgiving holiday hours!
