💙 TESTIMONY TUESDAY 💙

“When I first came in, I was dealing with severe 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, along with 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 related to 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬. At its worst, my pain was a 𝟏𝟎/𝟏𝟎. I had 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐩, pain traveling from my 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐠, plus 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 from cramps and spasms.

The pain became so intense that 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 and 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝.

After 𝐚 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, my pain has 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 and now stays between a 𝟏–𝟒, depending on my activity level.

With 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 focused on getting my 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, and 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 have improved. I’m 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, and honestly 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫.

I’ve already 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 to family members — including my mother, whose 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 so much that she’s now walking more easily 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐞. I plan to 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 and would 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 to others.

“For three months, I was dealing with 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, bad 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, and 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐠. It felt 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑒𝑟 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 and was starting to affect everything I did.
