2. What reasons, fears, apprehensions may be stopping you?

3. Read Mark 4:24 & pray that God gives you understanding to hear His wisdom and apply it specifically how He is calling you.

4. Journal your thoughts. Continue to seek clarity even if it's not clear today.

SHARING OUR LOVE STORY to encourage someone to wait on God’s best today. 💗 Don’t let the pressure of wanting a relationship cause you to settle. Right before God brought my husband into my life, I was a MESS…

The day before I left for college, I broke off an engagement with my then fiancé. It was a traumatic breakup, and I was heartbroken. I started partying, drinking (when I don’t even like to), and entertaining random guys—trying to fill a void. I made marriage an idol, and God knew I wasn’t ready. I needed healing.

Even in my sin, even when I tried to take matters into my own hands, God STILL brought my husband. 😭🙌🏽

I broke off my engagement in June 2011.
Went to college the next day…
And met my husband in July 2011.

We started dating, but God made us break up a few months later to deal with us separately. During that time, He healed me and removed the idol of marriage. My relationship with God reached new heights. ✨

When God brought back into my life, we were completely different. We were still imperfect but we were surrendered to God, and He confirmed would be my husband.

Soon, Kal proposed 💍 and we got married on August 1st, 2013—only two years after my heartbreak. 💔

It hurt then, but I see now how God used it all to make me better. When you surrender your love life to God, He will blow your mind. 🤯

11 years of marriage and 4 beautiful kids later. 🥰 All I can say is, thank you, Jesus! Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! ❣️
