Are you resting enough?

Taking a ritual rest each has profound positive effects.

Research has shown breaks:
🌊 Restore Motivation and Focus
🌊 Improve Mental Well Being
🌊 Boost Performance
🌊 Increase Creativity

The easiest way for modern people to take breaks (esp during the work day) is to schedule them in.

Acupuncture certainly counts as a break. In fact, many people refer to their treatments as an "acu-nap" because they fall into a peaceful sleep once the needles are in.

Resting nourishes Yin and can be a powerful grounding

I encourage you to try out scheduling two to three mini breaks throughout the day.

Napping, stretching, focused breathing, meditating, walking, spacing out, are great ways to take your break.

Bai Mu Er is commonly known as white snow fungus, wood ear, or jelly mushroom. This edible mushroom grows on trees and has a jelly-like consistency when wet.

Bai Mu Er nourishes the lungs, the stomach, body fluids, and the skin.

Bai Mu Er has water-containing properties similar to hyaluronic acid, keeping the skin hydrated, helping to reduce fine lines & wrinkles. Because of this many people take it as a beauty supplement.

You can also find this special herb in the bupin mixes I make for my cosmetic acupuncture patients.

Zhen Gu Shui or Evil Bone Water, is an external analgesic liniment that:
- promotes blood circulation
- helps ease pain
- decreases inflammation
- strengthens connective tissues

If you've received a treatment from me for pain, it's 99% likely I have applied this powerful liniment to the painful area.

Evil Bone Water is made with the highest quality herbs available, making it more powerful than any other product on the market that I've tried.

The at home use of this liniment is an important part of a treatment plan if you're experiencing musculoskeletal pain.

- soft tissue injuries such as: rotator cuff tears, knee injuries, jamming your finger, etc
- bone breaks
- can apply @ injection site after your vaccine to reduce soreness from inflammation
- sore shoulders such as from chronic stress

It's a must for your medicine cabinet at home, particularly if you're an athlete or have kids!

You can pick up a bottle next time you're in the clinic.

Acupuncture points are areas on the body where Qi comes to the surface.

Acupuncture points have specific functions and are chosen based on their medical, emotional, or spiritual effect.

Nothing is “added” to your body and nothing is injected into you (many patients ask this because they are so surprised at how good acupuncture makes them feel!).

The power of acupuncture comes from your own body’s resources.

Acupuncture can calm your mind, increase your energy, improve sleep quality, heal strained tendons and sore muscles, regulate menstrual cycle, and so much more…

As your acupuncturist, I choose the most relevant acupuncture points for your health goals.

There is no one size fits all. Acupuncture treatments are customized to you, each and every time.

Cosmetic acupuncture is an ancient, non-surgical way to rejuvenate the skin, the body, and the mind.

Cosmetic acupuncture uses points on the face to stimulate blood circulation to the skin and increase collagen & elastin production. This results in firmer skin, reduced wrinkles, even skin tone, tightening of jowls, and more.

Natural & painless, cosmetic acupuncture is the choice of those looking for new vibrancy without the desire for surgery or chemical injections.

“What should I do after my acupuncture treatment?”

The work we do together during your treatment is an opportunity for you to TUNE OUT AND TUNE IN.

Meaning…tune out all the voices from the outside world.
And tune in to your inner world.

If you feel tired after your treatment, rest.
If you feel energized after your treatment, go for a walk.
If you feel hungry after your treatment, eat.

And so on...

Listen to your inner voice.
