Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day!

Today, we celebrate the dedicated professionals who help individuals and families make healthier choices and improve their overall well-being.

Tiffany Richardson, one of our Registered Dietitians at Christ Community Health Services, shares her passion for helping patients live healthier lives. Tiffany has been a Registered Dietitian since January 2012 and began her journey with Christ Community on October 14, 2019. Since that time, she has been committed to providing the best care possible while helping patients improve their nutritional health.

Tiffany understands that eating healthy is not always easy. She works closely with patients to help them make smooth transitions toward healthier eating habits that support better health and improved quality of life. Helping people feel better and live healthier lives brings both a smile to her face and joy to her heart.

We also recognize Oslo Cole, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee at Martin, class of 1982. A lifelong member of Rock of Ages CME Church, he has attended services there since birth. Oslo is a proud father of two children and is happily married to Dr. Peatchola Jones-Cole. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

Thank you to our Registered Dietitians for the care, knowledge, and encouragement you provide to the patients and communities we serve every day.

March is Social Work Month, and we are honored to celebrate the incredible social workers who support and encourage our patients every day.

Meet Rebecca Evans, LMSW, a medical social worker at Christ Community Health Services. Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis in 2009 and her Master of Social Work from Union University in 2022. She became a licensed social worker in October 2025.

Rebecca shares that she enjoys working at Christ Community Health Services because of the opportunity to serve the people in our community. She is inspired by the resilience she sees in patients every day and values being able to witness transformation as patients receive the care and support they need. For Rebecca, it is a privilege to walk alongside patients and help them navigate their journey toward better health.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys reading, spending time near water, and worshipping and serving God.

Thank you, Rebecca, for the compassion and dedication you bring to Christ Community Health Services and to the patients you serve. 💛

March is National Kidney Month, a time to raise awareness about kidney disease and encourage everyone to take charge of their health.

Chronic kidney disease affects about 35.5 million people and often goes unnoticed until symptoms appear. When left unmanaged, it can lead to serious complications including heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. The good news is that healthy lifestyle choices can help protect your kidneys and slow the progression of kidney disease.

Here are a few ways to take care of your kidney health:

• Stay connected with your healthcare team and attend regular appointments.
• Manage your blood pressure and monitor blood glucose if you have diabetes.
• Take medications as prescribed and talk with your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you use.
• Maintain a healthy weight with balanced nutrition and regular activity.
• Reduce stress and aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day.
• Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.
• If you smoke, take steps to quit.

Your health matters. Talk with your provider about ways to protect your kidney health and schedule your next appointment today.

March is Social Work Month, and we are proud to recognize the dedicated social workers who make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients and families.

Social workers provide guidance, compassion, and practical support during some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether helping patients navigate paperwork, connect with resources, or find stability during difficult times, their work strengthens the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

We are grateful for the heart, wisdom, and commitment our social workers bring every single day. Thank you for walking alongside those who need support and for helping build healthier futures across our communities. 💛
