Today is April Fools’… and we’re full of Sister Store Shenanigans! 🤪🎉

So here’s the deal: Little Drugs of Demopolis tried on our logo for April Fools’… and we couldn’t just sit back and let them have all the fun 😉

So Mac’s decided to go ahead and “borrow” their logo for the day (we’re sure they don’t mind).

Now Little Drug Company is trying to copy them, and suddenly all three of us are playing dress‑up with each other’s logos 😂

But don’t worry, it’ll be back to normal tomorrow - and we’ve got the same Mac’s team and the same quality service. 💙💚

Just with a little April Fools’ mischief between sister stores who share everything: hometown heritage, compassionate care, and apparently - logos✨

Happy World Hearing Day, Jackson!✨

World Hearing Day was established to bring about awareness and support for hearing loss in our communities – and Mac’s Drugs is proud to announce today that we are working on growing our services to help better serve our community, especially those who experience hearing loss!

Two of Mac’s Drugs’ pharmacy technicians – Alise and Macy (pictured below) - have enrolled in a course being conducted by the University of Alabama, that allows pharmacy technicians to gain a better understanding of hearing aids and causes of hearing loss. This course will also familiarize them with equipment used to measure the severity of hearing loss and instruct them on the best candidates for over-the-counter hearing aids. 🦻✨

We are working with the board members of this study to help bring more accessible hearing-care to small communities like ours, so that no degree of hearing loss, however small, is left untreated and no neighbor is left unseen! Keep an ear out, Jackson – we hope to offer over-the-counter hearing aids, and other hearing-care services, very soon! 💚💙

A well deserved spotlight!✨ Congrats, Mr. Randy! 💚💙

🌟 Health Hero Spotlight: Randy F. Guy, Pharmacist at Mac’s Drugs 🌟

When you ask our community who goes above and beyond for the health and wellness of others, one name was shared again and again… Mr. Randy Guy.

For Randy, being a pharmacist is more than a profession- it’s a calling rooted in personal experience. As a child who struggled with severe asthma and allergies, he remembers Mac’s Drugs delivering his medications. That care left a lasting impression. At just 16 years old, Randy began working at Mac’s, and he’s been serving his hometown family there ever since.

Randy says he promotes health and wellness by counseling patients on how to take their medications properly, helping them get the maximum benefit while understanding possible side effects. He answers questions, helps navigate insurance concerns, and often provides something just as important- a caring, listening ear.

To Randy, community health means physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, therapists, and patients all working together toward healthier lives. And he believes our community is blessed with excellent resources to do just that.

But if you ask the community what makes Randy special, you’ll hear stories like these:

💬 “He’s available 24/7: meeting you anytime to fill a sick baby’s prescription.”
💬 “Night or day, he’s there when you need him.”
💬 “He doesn’t do it for the money. He does it for the people.”

Randy shared this message with the community he loves:
