CPC Metro

CPC Metro Empowering the Choice for Life We have ministered to over 25,000 women from the greater Jackson Metro area.

Since opening as the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Jackson in 1988, our ministry has lovingly offered alternatives to abortion to thousands of expectant mothers. We began offering post-abortion counseling and education in 1993 and added limited medical services in 2000 to open a window to the womb. We have an abstinence educator and speakers available to cover all aspects of pregnancy choices from the initial decision to be sexually active, through crisis situations, and beyond to healing from painful choices in our past. Our organization is ministerial and not political, offering help, hope, and healing to women and families in a time of crisis in their lives, as well as in the following years.

In this episode, we sit down with Beth Scarbrough, president of Rankin County Republican Women. Beth’s story is one of faith, humor, and life-changing choices.

At 40, she received unexpected news: she was pregnant. Her ultrasounds brought worry instead of joy, and her doctor suggested abortion. Beth was devastated—until an ultrasound tech asked a question that would stay with her forever: “Ain’t you got no religion?”

With her warm, down-to-earth humor, Beth reflects on faith, the ministry of “needing to be needed,” and the moments that shape our lives. Listening feels like sharing a coffee with a wise, intentional friend who’s lived through hard questions and come out shining on the other side.

We’re incredibly thankful for our friends at and the way they champion pregnancy care centers like ours. They’re a big reason 30+ centers across our state are able to keep showing up for moms and babies every day.

If you want to support this work, support them. It makes a difference for all of us.

Aunt life done right 🤍

Ayda and Ella are learning early that serving can be fun—and it starts with their aunt who knows it matters and invites them in. No matter your age or experience, there’s a place for you here… and it’s even sweeter when you bring the ones you love along.

We had a sweet time visiting Hickory Ridge Baptist Church and sharing how churches can get involved in LifeWalk. 🙌

Emily, our Medical Clinic Manager, is stepping up as Hickory Ridge’s team captain—with Janine and Betty coming alongside her to encourage and support as she leads. And Lucy? Already making her mark as one of our smallest CPC supporters! 👶🏼 🤍

Recently, Amanda Massey (our Abortion Recovery Manager) served as a guest speaker for Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith (BBGDF), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underrepresented voices and advocating for survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence.

Every day, we get to see Amanda walk closely with people navigating trauma, grief, and healing. Her work centers on offering compassionate, support, and guidance so that restoration can be found.

We are so grateful for the way Amanda represents both truth and healing, and for the impact she continues to make in the lives of those she serves. Congratulations, Amanda! Your team loves you!

Our Story

Since opening as the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Jackson in 1988, our ministry has lovingly offered alternatives to abortion to thousands of expectant mothers. We have ministered to over 22,000 women from the greater Jackson Metro area. We began offering post-abortion counseling and education in 1993 and added limited medical services in 2000, to open a window to the womb through sonogram technology. We now have two clinics open in North Jackson and Fondren. We also have educators available to cover all aspects of pregnancy choices, from the initial decision to be sexually active, through crisis situations, and beyond to healing from painful choices in our past. Our organization is ministerial and not political, offering help, hope and healing to women and families in a time of crisis in their lives, as well as in the following years.
