Today we recognize and celebrate the dedicated funeral directors and morticians who serve families and communities across Mississippi.

On National Funeral Director and Mortician Recognition Day, the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association would like to thank the professionals who bring compassion, professionalism, and dignity to their work every day. Funeral service is more than a profession; it is a calling that requires care, strength, and a deep commitment to helping families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

Your service ensures that every life is honored with respect and that every family receives the guidance and support they need.

MFDA is proud to represent and support the funeral professionals who serve communities throughout our state.

Thank you for the important work you do each and every day. 🕊️

MFDA looks forward to seeing you there!

We are gearing up to have a great Expo of the South this year!!! Please let all funeral professionals know about the Expo in Mississippi or surrounding states.

It is a great way for owners as well as employees to get to experience what some of the large conventions are like without the expense of out of state conventions.
