Marcus Neville Robinson was a native and resident of the Gainestown community. Marcus was born on Jan. 27, 1989 to the parentage of Rachel Williams Robinson and Vince Robinson. He departed his earthly home on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Marcus, was a member of the Gainestown AOH Church. He attended Jackson High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 2009. He loved hunting, fishing and racing. Most importantly he was a great provider for his kids.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Vilornda Robinson; grandmother, Sarah Williams; grandfathers, Clarence Robinson and Austin Williams; and nephew, Zylen Jackson.

Marcus leaves to cherish his memories his devoted parents, Rachel and Vince Robinson; grandmother, Callie Robinson; daughter, Nabrina Robinson; three sons, Maky Robinson, Mathias Robinson and Maxton Robinson; two brothers, Cruz Robinson and Mason Robinson; four sisters, Mary (De Mario) Jackson, Shaletha Williams, Taletha Williams and Mary Washington; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He also considered Christopher Washington, Markell Robinson, Dexter Q. Jackson and Demarkus Bryant as close friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, April 3, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will be Saturday, April 4, at 2:30 p.m., at Gainestown A.O.H. Church of God, 2036 Family Circle Road, Gainestown, AL 36540. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Martha Mae Brown Frowner, a life-long resident of the Manila community, answered the Master's call on March 24, 2026, while at Jackson Medical Center. She was born to the parentage of Bessie Hunt Brown and Freddie Brown in Manila.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with St. Matthews No. 1 Baptist Church in Manila, where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail. In 1972, she united in holy matrimony to the Rev. Henry Frowner and to this union they were blessed with seven children. She enjoyed spending time with family and cooking delicious meals.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bessie and Freddie Brown; sister, Emma Leggett; brothers, Horace Brown and Arthur Brown; and grandson, Fredrick Durgin.

Left to cherish her memories, is her loving and devoted husband, the Rev. Henry Frowner of Manila; children, Marianne Frowner of Indiana, Kimberly Frowner, Marquita Frowner, Shonda Frowner, Darrell (Tameka) Frowner and Marcus (Melissa) Frowner, all of Manila, and Gregory Frowner of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Demi Walker, Takeedra Poe, Deonta Poe, Trevon Campbell, Jahne Whittaker, Marissa Frowner, Markel Frowner, De'Aundre McClain, Rhylee Hunt and Joshua Frowner; six great-grandchildren; two loving sisters, Lou Ida (Levi) Marks of Axis and Augustine Bryant of Walker Springs; sisters-in-law, Annie Frowner, and Aretha Frowner, both of Alma, Mary Kirskey of Chicago, Ill. and Gladys Brown; brother-in-law, the Rev. Webster Frowner of Kansas; with a host of nieces, including devoted niece Rosemary Hunt, nephews, with devoted nephew, Eddie Bryant Jr.; with other relatives and friends, including devoted friend, Sarah Walker.

Tykwon Latrell Armstrong, 21 years old, was born to the parentage of Tomeki Brown and Montrell Armstrong on December 15, 2004. He made his early transition on March 25, 2026 at USA hospital.

He attended Clarke County High School and was a graduate with the Class of 2023 where he played basketball, baseball, and football from little league until his junior year of high school. After graduating, he became a construction worker. Kwon was an avid outdoors person from a small child to an adult where he enjoyed building things, yard work, corn hole toss, welding, fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. Most of all he loved his family and friends and never missed a chance expressing his love and deeply appreciated the love in return.

He was proceeded in death by his great grandparents Wilbert Davis , Arthur and Georgia Yelder Sr., Miller and Arthur Tarvin, Della and Early Brown and his beloved aunt Diane Geagan and one Uncle Keith Armstrong.

Tykwon leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, Tomeki Brown;father, Montrell (Sophia) Armstrong ; brothers Deondre Pugh, Jiquell Armstrong; and sister Jadyn Hunt. Marion Louise Foxx Poellnitz, a native of Jackson, AL, was born February 1, 1956 to the union of Doris Dean Foxx and Marvin Foxx in Jackson, AL. She made her earthly transition on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 while at NYU Langone Hospital in Long Island, NY.

Later in life, Marion relocated to New York with her mother. She returned to Jackson, AL where she met united with Matthew Poellnitz, Sr. They moved back to New York and begin their life together.

Marion enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, reading, listening to music and being apart of the Senior Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris Dean Foxx and Marvin Foxx; brother, Rodney Foxx; grandparents: Ethel Glivens Dinkins Dean and Vernon Dean; aunts: Retha Mae Dean, Mary Lee Dean Williams, and Inez Dean King; uncles: Warren Dean, Edmond Dean and Robert Lee Dean.

Dora Lee Lang Roberts, a native of the Cortelyou, AL and a resident of the Calvert, AL, was born June 2, 1955 to the parentage of Ethel Lee Norwood Lang and Reaf Lang, Sr. Dora gained her wings Friday morning, March 20, 2026 at 3:00 AM.

Dora Early in life Dora united with the Lewis Grove Baptist in Wagarville and later in life united with the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithful member and served faithfully in the choir. Some of her favorite songs was, “Just Another Day That The Lord Has Kept Me” and “You Know My Name.”

Dora was a graduated of Leory High School Class of 1973. Dora's gifts and talents were many. To name a few she sang with joy, sewed with passion and always cooked with love. She was famous throughout the community for her pasta salad and peach cobbler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Reaf Lang, Sr.; grandparents, Jim and Ledora Norwood; two brothers: George and Reaf Lang, Jr.; nephew, Justin Barnes; brothers -in-law, Charles Barnes, Herman Ferrell and Purvis Barnes.

Mrs. Janie Lucille Moore, a native of the Good Hope Community in Walker Springs, AL, was born March 31, 1949 the second child born to the late Janie B. Moye in Grove Hill, AL. She exchanged life for eternity on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Cile confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant in the church choir. She grew up rooted in the traditions of Good Hope, forming lifelong bonds and a deep love for her hometown.

She never met a stranger, she greeted everyone with her warm and contagious smile. She’s known for her nurturing spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength, she touched the lives of all who knew her. Cile was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janie B. Moye; and brother, Roosevelt “Boot” Williams.

Cile leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband, Henry Earl Moore, Sr.; a dedicated sister, Shirley A. Leggett; two brothers-in-law: Curlee Leggett and Mose Moore Jr.; a supportive and loving cousin, Clevera “Babysister” Creer; and a large extended family, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Eric was a great provider for his family and a loving son and brother. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, and having a good time with family, and he never met a stranger.

Shanavie Latrice Henderson was born and raised in Grove Hill, Alabama, and was a resident of Jackson, Alabama. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late Freeman Henderson and the late JoeAnn Horn. Shanavie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life touched many people in her community and beyond.

Shanavie was a graduate of Clarke County High School, Class of 1996. She was a devoted member of Clarkesville A.O.H. Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Lucille V. Henry, where she faithfully served as the Youth Director and Sunday School Secretary. Shanavie had a heart for guiding and encouraging young people and was known for her kindness, wisdom, and dedication to her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joann Horn and Freeman Henderson; and her brothers, James Ferrell, Everette Armonn Henderson, and Barry Mitchell.

Shanavie leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory. She is survived by her children, Takiyah Patrick (Kendrick), Jania McKinney, and Yasmin McKinney; and her cherished grandson, Jayden Patrick. She also leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Darrell (Bonnie) Henderson; and her sisters, Annette (Levester) Robinson and Patricia Johnson (Zachary).

She shared a special bond with her god-sisters, Sharanda Wright and Jaleesa Martin, and her god-brother, Nick Martin. She was also blessed with a devoted cousin, Shawanda Leonard, who held a special place in her heart. Shanavie was also blessed with close friendships that meant the world to her, including her best friends, Lorene Dickinson and Janice Jackson.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Dwight Chapman Jr., Kizzie Richardson-Smith, Cedric Williams, Brianna Stone, and many more; along with a host of aunts, uncles, one devoted uncle, Jesse Leonard, other relatives, and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Shanavie’s life was a testament to love, faith, and dedication to family and community. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Her legacy continues through her children, Christina Keevon Spiers (Henry, III), Melissa Keevan Bates (Timothy, Sr.) and Benjamin Keevan (Leslie); her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Spiers (Tiffany), Tiffany Salinas (Carlos), Courtney Kelley (Brandon), Timothy Bates Jr. (Renee), James Spiers IV (Amber), Tyler Bates (Alyssa), Clark Keevan and Ellie Keevan; and loving great-grandchildren, Hunter Fleming, Braydon Kelley, Iris Salinas, Bayleigh Kelley, Emma Shirley, Bentley Bates, Jacob Spiers, R.J. Sandra worked as a caregiver for 20 years, where she passionately cared for countless patients as she was committed to serving others and was love by so many.

Keith Anthony Armstrong, a native of Grove Hill and resident of Dixons Mill, answered the Master’s call on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Keith was born in New Orleans, La., to Robin Armstrong-Yelder and the late Keith Cannon. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Orange Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Walter Sanders.

Keith attended Clarke County High School, was a proud Bulldog, member of the football team and member of the Class of 2001. He worked for the city of Grove Hill for many years. Keith was a proud fan of the LSU Tigers and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to DJ and fish on his free time.

Preceding him in death was his father, Keith Cannon; grandparents, Wilbert Davis, Robert Armstrong, Isaac Cannon and Deloris Cannon, Arthur Yelder Sr. and Georgia Yelder: and one beloved aunt, Diane Geagan; and father-in-law, Larry Lewis.

Rev. Jerden Hill, Sr., a life-long resident of the Allen community of Grove Hill, traded time for eternity on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, while at the William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette.

He was born on May 25, 1930 to Susanna Hill and Henry Hill Sr. Early in life, Jerden united with the St. Peter Baptist Church in the Allen community as a child, where he was a faithful member and served as an associate minister. He also served as an associated minister at Friendship Baptist Church in Leroy and in the 1st District of the Bethel Association as the minister who visits churches in the district.
Rev. Hill was a graduate of Wilson Hall in Grove Hill, and furthered his education at Alabama State University and Hobson State Technical College in Thomasville, receiving degrees from both colleges.

As a minister, he enjoyed sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rev. Hill was a retired educator having served as a teacher, principal and coach. He was also a barber, boxer and brick mason. Rev. Hill served his country in the United States Army as a Private 2nd Class, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Japan Occupation Metal, Korean Service Metal and was a Korean War veteran.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening, playing checkers, taking pictures, eating good food, dressing well and was a lover of nice shoes. The Rev. Hill was known for having a good joke and telling stories. He loved sightseeing and riding, laughing and spending time with family and friends. He loved his Green Truck but most of all, he loved Jesus. His favorite saying was, "Jesus is your friend; if you don't have Jesus...you don't have a friend."

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Bernice Hill; daughter, Debra Hill; son, Jerden Hill Jr. and his 15 siblings.

Rev. Hill leaves to cherish his legacy and precious memories daughters, Brenda Norman and Carolyn Hill of Pensacola, Fla. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 13, from 1 until 5 p.m., at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2 p.m., at St. Peter Baptist Church, 3887 Simmons Creek Road, Grove Hill. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
