To those of you that heard a rumor or to those who have tried to make an appointment with me in Waverly over the last week.....it is true. I am no longer affiliated with SOMC.

What comes next? I don't know yet. I am still figuring this out. It will be several months before I know and I will keep you informed on this page.

I love each and every one of you. I care about my community. I am ever so grateful to all of you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. Feel free to call/message and chat if you would like. But for now, patient care is on hold.

I shared this on Marketplace, but will put it right here, also. This is for sale. Maybe one of you will know someone that may be looking for just this, or, you might decide to share it, too. Thanks in advance if you do. This was my mom’s. Single owner. And I just had it all tuned up by a sewing machine guy. My father, a cabinet maker, designed and built the cabinet that hides the machine when not in use. The machine attaches to the hinges. Eight working drawers.

The dimensions: 80” when leaves are fully out. 40” closed. 19.75” deep.

(Leaves in this picture were not able to be put fully out due to the other items in the way. But they do lay flat. And create a top over the machine when it is lowered down under with its hinges. )

Just a reminder...if you need copies of your child's medical records, they need to be requested from SOMC. We now longer have access to the medical records. SOMC is the custodian of all of HTPC' records. You can call their Health Information Management office at 740-356-8786 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also fax your request to 740-356-6326.

Phones are not working in Waverly. You can call in to the main phone line in Portsmouth 740-356-5000 and asked to be transferred to Waverly Peds….THAT is working. Sorry for any problems this is creating. Hoping they get this fixed soon. It’s been down for several days.

Just something to think about. Maybe they will and maybe they won’t close, but think about the worst scenario. Cause once it happens , there will be no going back. How far will we have to travel to get health care? And how many of us in southern Ohio have the means to travel further than we already do?

I miss everyone of you! I sit and wonder how everyone is, how the school year ended, where you might go for a summer fun time, how big the kids are getting, what has made you sad, what has made you happy…..I just miss you.

This is just to let you know that I have not forgotten you, nor never will. You guys are my original family. Hugs to you all!! And remember, I am only just as far away as Waverly. And I work Sunday, all day! 😉

It has come to my attention that the phones in Waverly do not answer if you call for pediatrics ON SUNDAY. Even though the message on the phone says no one is there until Monday, I AM THERE. They are trying to work out the problem. In the meantime, you need to call the urgent care on Sunday to make an appointment with me on that day……but I will be in Peds when you get there, not urgent care. Sorry for any mix up this has created with anyone. Monday thru Friday the phones will answer in peds.

And BTW, I miss each and every one of you.
Warbler season is going well and I am having fun photographing all the beautiful birds that are coming thru. This is a prothonotary warbler
Soon I will get to go back on a mission trip. This time to the Dominican Republic.
