This season, Pathway Healthcare would like to shine a light on an organization doing meaningful work for women in recovery. The McCoy House Extended Care for Women provides a safe, peaceful environment for healing and hope. Their beautiful two story home sits on more than seven acres of wooded land, creating space to reflect on the past, live in the present, and plan for a healthy future.

At McCoy House, residents focus on unity, personal responsibility, and long term recovery through a twelve step approach. It is a place where women can rebuild confidence, strengthen life skills, and receive support from a caring community that understands the recovery journey.
If you would like to make a positive impact, please consider donating or sharing their mission with someone who may need it. A little support goes a long way in helping women find safety, stability, and a fresh start.

December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month and a powerful reminder of how important it is to make safe, responsible choices that protect lives. Every impaired driving incident is preventable, and awareness can make all the difference.

At Pathway Healthcare, we believe prevention begins with education, support, and accessible treatment. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol or drug use, reaching out for help can change everything. Recovery is possible, and you do not have to face it alone.

Let’s look out for one another, stay safe on the roads, and encourage healthier choices in our communities.

World Su***de Prevention Day — September 10

Tomorrow is World Su***de Prevention Day, a time when people across the globe unite to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and inspire action to prevent su***de.

This year’s theme is “Changing the Narrative on Su***de” — a call to replace silence with compassion, and stigma with understanding. Su***de claims more than 720,000 lives every year, but together, we can share hope, support, and connection that saves lives.

We stand alongside individuals, families, and communities to remind you:

You are not alone.

Help is available.

Healing is possible.

Join us in supporting this vital cause by having open conversations, checking in on loved ones, and spreading resources that matter.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month

Let’s talk about it.

Far too often, men suffer in silence—taught to "man up" instead of speak up. But strength isn’t staying quiet. Strength is asking for help. Strength is showing up, even when it’s hard. Strength is choosing healing over hiding.

This month, we recognize the importance of breaking the stigma and encouraging open, honest conversations about mental health—because mental health is health.

✅ You are not weak.
✅ You are not alone.
✅ You are not invisible.

If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out. There is support. There is hope. There is a way forward.

As the weekend arrives, it's the perfect time to take a step back, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Life moves fast—and sometimes, we forget how important it is to simply be rather than always do. Your mental and behavioral health deserve just as much care and attention as your physical health, and the weekend offers a gentle reminder: it's okay to slow down.

Use these days to nourish your mind and spirit. That might mean taking a quiet walk, spending time with someone who makes you smile, unplugging from screens, or simply sitting in silence with a cup of coffee. Whatever helps you feel more grounded, more whole—lean into that.

Progress in mental health isn't about perfection. It's about small, meaningful steps: giving yourself grace, choosing rest when you're tired, reaching out when you need connection. This weekend, be kind to yourself. You're doing better than you think.
