This sweet baby girl was hit by a car on Campbell Street earlier tonight. A good Samaritan took her to a police Officer who notified us. She's been to the vet and is stabilized and comfortable for the moment, but has several weeks of recovery in front of her and we're positive she would rather do that with her family. If you recognize her, please have her people call our people. Must prove ownership to claim.

Here we are, once again, asking if any of you beautiful people would be willing to foster some kittens. We have a litter of 5 who need urgent placement, because they aren't safe where they are. They are eating on their own and need a 3 to 4 week soft spot to land. A bathroom or screened in porch would work just fine, or we can provide a kitty condo to house them indoors without sacrificing your carpet and furniture. We provide all needed food and supplies, we just need room for them to crash. If you can help, please let us know and we can send you our foster application to get the ball rolling.

White male found on 23 Belle Haven Cove. Two male tricolor’s found on Lansbury Pl. Blue and white male found at Muse Park. All but one tricolor has collars. All have no chips. Must provide proof of ownership to reclaim.

Meet Marge and Simon, our two “oldie goldies” who are proving that some friendships really do come with a lifetime warranty ☀️

These two younger seniors are people-friendly, easygoing, and full of quiet charm. They’re dog selective, but they absolutely adore each other and enjoy spending their time side by side, especially during sunny play yard naps.

Marge will need a secure crate when home alone, as she experiences separation anxiety and feels most comfortable in a safe, enclosed space. Simon is housebroken and has lovely indoor manners, making him an easygoing companion in the home.

If you’ve been looking for one (or two) sweet senior with mellow energy, big hearts, and a talent for perfect sunbathing technique, Marge and Simon are ready to bring a little extra warmth to your home.

Meet Speedy 💦

Speedy has never met a body of water he didn’t immediately commit to. Kiddie pool? Cannonball. Water bowl? Face first. River trip? He’s already halfway in before you’ve parked the car.

If your weekends involve the lake, the river, or anything remotely splashable, congratulations, you’ve just found your new co-pilot. Speedy is built for water adventures and will happily turn every outing into a full-contact splash fest.

This lovable goof brings the chaos in the best way, but somehow still manages to be everyone’s best friend. Dogs love him. Cats tolerate him (which is basically a glowing review). Kids? Obsessed.

He’s playful, happy, and just reckless enough around water to keep things interesting… and very, very wet.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I want to give a specific shout out. We talk a lot about team work and lifting each other up, but few people really embrace that ideal. Leilani, Randi, Rodney, Michael, Michelle F, and Michelle K all work for other city departments. They had no reason to be here other than wanting to help. They spent a huge chunk of their weekend with us and their Slumber Pawty team raised $2,000 for our medical program. That's what teamwork looks like in its highest form. We appreciate them more than they know!

The 2026 Shelter Slumber Pawty is officially a wrap! WE HIT OUR GOAL! And then raised another $6,130!!! Thank you so much to everyone who donated, participated, brought snacks, and kept us company on the ride! The Jackson Juniorettes Pink Ladies are our competition champs, after raising $7,300!!! That means they have to return next year to defend their title! We can't wait!

We're 20 hours in to the Slumber Pawty and THANK GOODNESS for the support from Scooter's Coffee! I think we've had 43 minutes of sleep (combined) and the brain fuel is very needed and greatly appreciated!
