November 22 is International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day.

Today is for the people who are carrying the kind of grief that changes you. Losing someone to su***de is heavy and complicated, and the path forward never looks the same for any two people. There is no rulebook for healing. There is no deadline for feeling better. There is only the next step, and the one after that, taken at your own pace.

If you or someone you love is navigating this kind of loss, you’re not alone. The American Association of Suicidology offers support through guides, handbooks, survivor groups, and their Healing After Loss Summit at the AAS Annual Conference.

We’re holding space for every survivor today.

Virus season is here, and good handwashing matters more than ever.

Fall and winter always bring a rise in viruses. We’re seeing more coughs, colds, stomach bugs, and flu already, and one of the best ways to protect yourself is still the easiest: wash your hands well and often.

A few things that make a real difference:
• Wash with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds
• Dry completely
• Avoid touching your face when you can
• Stay home if you’re running a fever or feeling sick

If symptoms do show up, we’re here to help you sort out what’s going on and get you feeling better.
