So much of how you feel each day comes back to gut health. If you’re dealing with bloat, irregular bowels, skin flares, stubborn weight, low energy, or achy joints, hidden food triggers may be part of the story.

The Vibrant Food Sensitivity Test is an easy at-home finger-stick that measures IgG/IgA responses to 96 common foods. You can order the test by itself or choose the Leaky Gut Repair Kit, which adds digestive enzymes, glutamine, probiotics, and clean protein to support healing.

For Black Friday, we have the at-home lab kit available for a discount. Use code BF25OFF at checkout and save 25%!

Many of the symptoms I see—bloating, brain fog, skin flares, joint aches, stubborn fatigue—trace back to an irritated, more permeable gut lining. The good news is, the gut can heal!

Here’s where to start:
• Calm & simplify meals: lean protein, colorful veggies, healthy carbs. Reduce processed foods, bread, and added sugar.
• Support digestion: broad-spectrum digestive enzyme with meals + a quality multi-strain probiotic.
• Repair the lining: morning Glutamine used as "Neosporin" for the gut.
• Personalize when needed: a Vibrant Food Sensitivity test (easy at-home blood spot) helps us stop guessing and focus your plan.

When the gut settles, energy steadies, flares calm, skin clears, sleep improves, and the mind feels quieter. It’s not perfection—it’s creating conditions your body can trust.

I put my Leaky Gut Bundle together with a quick guide to leaky vs healthy gut, Dr. Mark’s Dinner Plate, our full Gut Healing Protocol, smoothie recipes, and more.

GI Defense is back and better than ever with an improved reformulation.

Many of you loved the original GI Defense for its soothing focus. We kept the same goal of calm, steady digestion and we kept aloe for its gentle support.

What changed is the way we deliver results. The new GI Defense simplifies to one capsule per day and adds three upgrades:

1. A resilient probiotic, LactoSpore Bacillus coagulans, 15 billion CFU at time of manufacture, to support a healthy microbial balance.

2. Digestive enzymes, protease and cellulase, to help break down protein and plant fibers.

3. Targeted botanicals, including oregano, caprylic acid, black walnut, wormwood, anise, arabinogalactan, and reishi, to support balance and everyday comfort.

Try this: take 1 capsule with water daily for 14 days and track a 1 to 10 score for bloating after your main meal. Watch for steadier comfort.

Your immune system is your body’s first and most powerful line of defense. But staying healthy isn’t just about reacting to illness—it's about building daily resilience.

I often get asked, “Where should I start when it comes to supporting my immune system?” My answer is: start with food. Zinc-rich foods like grass-fed beef, pumpkin seeds, lentils, and chickpeas are excellent for maintaining healthy immune signaling. Also, load your plate with colorful, whole foods—especially those rich in vitamins C, D, and antioxidants like spinach, citrus, and berries.

In my clinic, we focus on a proactive approach to immune health—not just waiting until something goes wrong, but giving your body the daily support it needs to stay resilient.

That starts with the basics:
A nourished gut, proper hydration, daily movement, quality sleep, and a diet rich in whole, nutrient-dense foods. These are the foundations of a strong immune system.

But let’s be honest—life doesn’t always allow us to eat perfectly or manage stress as we should. Often, we simply don’t get enough of the key nutrients our immune systems rely on. That’s where targeted supplementation comes in.

When extra support is needed, I recommend these five daily essentials:

Zinc Lozenges – For throat and upper respiratory support, combining 25 mg of highly absorbable zinc and 100 mg of elderberry.

Vitamin D3 + K – To regulate immune cell activity and maintain inflammatory balance

Immune Support – A powerful herbal and mushroom blend including echinacea, elderberry, and astragalus

Vitamin C Fizz – For antioxidant protection and collagen-based barrier support

Probiotic Maintenance – To strengthen your gut microbiome, which is key to immune function

Each supplement is designed to reinforce a specific part of the immune system—from your gut to your respiratory tract to your cellular defenses.

To help guide you step-by-step, I’ve put together a free Immune Health Protocol that outlines how to integrate these into your daily routine:

This is the same approach I use with patients at the Meno Clinic to build long-term wellness from the inside out.

Dr. Mark

If your mitochondria are tired, you’re tired.

Feeling tired a lot? If your mitochondria are tired, you’re tired. These “powerhouses” make most of your cell energy (ATP). Stress, aging, and toxins can slow them down. In my article, I share how a supportive blend—CoQ10, L-carnitine, D-ribose, B vitamins—plus resveratrol and curcumin can help your cells make energy more efficiently.

Step out today for a 30-minute fall walk. Natural light and gentle movement support steady energy.

Do you have an afternoon slump? Try this 3-step energy reset today.

Wired at night and dragging by 2 pm? You’re not broken—your routine needs a quick tune-up. Try this simple reset any day you need it:

1. Light + movement: Get 10 minutes of morning light and take a 10-minute walk after lunch.

2. Protein anchor: Build breakfast around 30–40g protein. I love a chocolate peanut butter protein smoothie, but find a protein-rich breakfast that works best for you.

3. Wind-down: Set a 60-minute “screens down” window before bed and take 10 slow breaths to shift your nervous system.

Track it
Rate your energy 1–5 at lunch and bedtime. Note three things—sleep, steps, and protein. Many people see steadier energy when these three line up.

Start with one step: take that 10-minute post-meal walk and notice your afternoon focus.

I took a walk behind the clinic this afternoon. Fall time is here with some amazing colors coming through.
