LIFT Wellness Center is a medical fitness facility guided by a medical advisory board. We are a department of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and are equally dedicated to improving our members' overall health and wellbeing. Our team of professional fitness and clinical experts are able to help members enhance their total body health through services such as personal training, massage, physical therapy, aquatic therapy, disease management, health risk screenings, fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, goal assistance, safe exercise techniques, and dietary consultation. Our center will also be home to a primary care clinic and healthy cafe in addition to the vast menu of wellness center amentities.

Let’s get the kids moving! 💙

Our Fit Kids event is coming up, and it’s all about helping children stay active, have fun, and build healthy habits through movement and play.

📅 Tuesday, March 17
⏰ 4 PM – 6 PM
📍 LIFT Wellness Center
✔ Members’ children only
✔ $5 per child

🌟 Member Spotlight: Joanne

When Joanne moved to Jackson in 2024, she and her husband had planned to enjoy retirement and begin a new chapter together. After his passing, Joanne made a commitment — not just to stay active, but to take steps toward healing.

That commitment led her to LIFT Wellness Center.

Her first class experience was a positive one, and it didn’t take long for Joanne to discover something special here. Through the encouragement of instructors like Anna, Rachel, and Rebecca, she found more than just a place to exercise.

She found community.

“For me, LIFT is more than staying fit and healthy — it’s a healing journey,” Joanne says. “There are great friends here. LIFT is a friendship.”

Joanne’s story reminds us that wellness is about more than physical health. It’s about connection, encouragement, and showing up — even on the hard days.

Her advice for anyone thinking about getting started?

“Just show up. You’ll love it.”
