In honor of Women's History Month, we invite you to join our mission of giving women REAL options, not abortion. Support for women doesn't just include empowering them to choose life; it includes support that will set them up to be successful mothers, giving them tools and resources like updated education on parenting and childbirth, mommy and baby supplies, help applying for TennCare, referrals to other community resources, and free early parental care for those who qualify.

For women considering adoption, we don't just help her make an adoption plan. We make sure she knows her rights, she gets to choose which of our Birth Choice families will raise her child, and she receives updates from that family on her child. We won't just cut ties with the birth mother after placement. We plan to walk WITH her for the first 18 years after she places her child for adoption.

Because this ministry isn't just for babies. Its for women too. (And men! Really it is for the whole family!)

Let's help the women who come through our doors make history!

Last week, something occurred that never happened before in Birth Choice history. We sadly regret to share that the keynote speaker we originally booked for the banquet, Steventhen Holland, suffered an unexpected stroke on March 5th. He is expected to recover and has been discharged from the hospital. However, under orders from his doctors, he had to cancel all his spring speaking engagements, including our fundraising banquet. Please pray for him and his family as he continues to heal, rest, and undergo therapy. We hope to book Steventhen for a future banquet.

Rest assured, this year’s April 16th Fundraising Banquet will proceed as originally scheduled. We are beyond thankful to Dr. William Lile for agreeing to speak at our banquet on short notice. Dr. Lile is a dynamic national speaker, educator, OBGYN, and advocate for both the preborn and pregnant women. He will not disappoint!

Here is a little more about our new keynote speaker, Dr. William Lile, a.k.a. “The Pro-life Doc:”

A few weeks ago, when Cora boarded our mobile clinic, she was concerned about who would help her if she had the baby. Her boyfriend, who was unfaithful to her, left after finding out she was pregnant.

Our volunteer advocate and nurse met her with compassion and care that day. They treated her with dignity by giving her factual information about abortion, adoption, and parenting. They shared about our God who loves her, died for her, and wants a relationship with her. They also asked if they could follow up with her and encourage her throughout her pregnancy.

When Cora saw our 12-week fetal model, she cried. Afterward, she had her ultrasound and saw her very active baby! Because Cora was gently and lovingly confronted with truthful and practical information, she chose life for her child.

In honor of International Day of the Unborn Child, Birth Choice is inviting the community to attend a dedication and blessing ceremony conducted by Fr. Dennis Schenkel, with the local Knights of Columbus Chapter #1101, for our new Esaote ultrasound machine.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 25th, at 4:00 PM at Birth Choice in Jackson. The event is free and open to the public, and tours of our clinic will follow the ceremony.

The $52,000 ultrasound machine was purchased with designated funds raised in under a year. The local Knights of Columbus Chapter #1101 raised $26,000 for the new machine, and the national Knights of Columbus organization matched their donations with an additional $26,000 for a total of $52,000 raised. This contribution is part of a massive national effort, with the Knights of Columbus having purchased over 2,000 machines through July 2025.

The new Esaote ultrasound machine is special because it incorporates AI technology that significantly improves the accuracy of scans and allows for earlier detection.

Birth Choice’s current machines can measure fetal heartbeats as early as five weeks and five days. This new machine can measure heartbeats as early as five weeks and two days. This three-day difference is vital, as it can directly impact a client’s decision to continue with a pregnancy.

This training will help Lisa and Julia become more trauma-informed and approach situations with empathy.
