If you happened to see this gift-wrapped loc bun at the Memphis Comedy Festival Weekend, that was designed by mói. Sir needed a Touch-up with something extra, and since I Finally had pins on me, we did it up! I don't get to do designs much, so I'm lucky I have clients like this to trust me to practice

Artist, fellow photographer and videographer, PromiseTMG had waited a while to get his locs tightened, and I was not shocked at the health of this man's hair. No breakage, no build-up, and lots of pliability. I see why he keeps these bad boys up for so long. Doing his hair was a breeze, and I'm happy he came by to sit in my chair. Welcome back to school, little ones! Now, just in case supplies has depleted funds or looking for deals for your grade school child, I have a few specials for you. Now, silk presses and braided ponytails/buns without weave are $15. Also, loc retwists are $20, braided crochet ponies are $25, 1/2 crochet are $30, and box braids are $50. These are the clients that keep me going: my little people. I'm lucky to have 2 guinea pigs to learn everything I know about love and practice/test on. The birthday boy had Major.... MAJOR loc damage due to loc neglect. Those that know, he's the kid that chose to live with his dad. Lots of guys make the mistake of thinking locs either need Weekly maintenance or no care at all. The lesson fell on his head, but that's okay! Mommy prescribed Yoli oil to rub 3 times a week on his scalp, limited ponytails and No styling over the summer before his next appointment his birthday eve. Before loc meosis, we had a clarifying shampoo and scalp massage, hydration treatment, breakfast and movie date, followed by birthday shopping therapy, all of which, Very vital to overall hair health! His results are downright Dangerous! Pliable, soft, shiny, and Super stretchy! I'm glad my baby boy trusted Mom to do what's best for his hair and get it back to Life. Be sure to wish him a Very Happy 11th New Year!
Yeah.... I know...It took some time to come back. I Know....! I know. Help me do better and hold me accountable. I think doing his hair is the best way to get back into loving on heads. Love you guys

This was a Fun transformation. Mary has a bit of a nerve problem--Which I understand, having my Own conditions-- that causes her to pull hair from her fronts and sides. While nursing her youngest daughter and recovering from a migraine, I gently repaired the front of her hair, by combing out the damaged locs and restarted them, using the interlock and two-strand methods, and braided her into a simple, all-purpose style, that can help extend her time between retwists. Also, advised her on oils to grow out her hair, and suggested methods to help her to not go straight to pulling out her hair. Forgive the poor quality. I had to use an old phone, but the before and after was heartwarming
