Please read the comments made by Aadil Palkhivala for important clarity regarding this seated relaxation not being Svanasana. The effects upon the nervous system while seated — no matter how relaxed one may be — are very different than the experience of
Svanasana (lying supine either with or without a bolster under the knees).

Savasana, the final resting pose in yoga, isn't restful for everyone. These variations help everyone experience comfort.

Practicing Innerwork — just one of the many benefits is the exchange of “mobile device shoulders” for the joy of an open heart. It’s an incredible transformation. Transformations and location shifts are now going on — Innerwork Studio will say goodbye to the Jacksonville Beach studio on April 30.
MaryAnne will continue to teach, but after a sabbatical that includes reprioritizing life to catch up with eight special little people and their parents. Innerwork will return in June with a new webpage updating the offerings of yoga, meditation and Pilates. and joy. Stay tuned❤️!

As we all experience the stresses resulting from the uncharted daily-life shifts COVID-19 is bringing, our balance and well-being can be difficult to find. Innerwork is dedicated to our students, and recognizing the strong suggestion of self-quarantine, we are closing Thursday 3/19 to reassess our hours and reboot as soon as possible.

Please know we are developing virtual yoga and Pilates classes to keep you balanced and grounded through the interim. We will keep you informed of all our developments as they evolve. So stay tuned for updates on more ways to practice your Inner Work. Peace to you.
