Reconnecting with yourself requires not only patience but a lot of questions. Our motivations and goals for our life depends on our connectivity with our inner most selves.

While taking a slow breath in and giving a long release out, as yourself these questions:

1. What do I notice when I am still?
* Do you notice tension or anxiety in your shoulders? Is anything coming up for you that you have been pushing off?
2. Where or what can I let go?
* Are you holding on to something that no longer serves you? Can you unclench your jaw and lower your shoulders?
3. How can I be present in this moment?
* What can you put in your mind to remember? A sight? A sound?
4. How will I nourish myself today?
* Will you be honoring a craving? Will you try a new movement?

Healthy “lifestyles” can often be a diet undercover 🕵️ Intuitive or Mindful eating is not the same!

Intuitive eating is about starting with trust in yourself and acknowledging your hunger, even if its coming from an emotional standpoint. While allowing *all* foods, there is still the use of nutrition in order to honor your health. Weight loss is not the focus, or a goal, but can be a side effect.

1️⃣ Food you don’t like - Good news you don’t *have* to eat it!
2️⃣ Food you’re allergic to - Avoid them even if you carry an EpiPen!
3️⃣ Food that is expired - You don’t have to smell them or try them first when they are past expiration or moldy!
4️⃣ Food that is out of budget - You don’t have to try the newest supplement or food trend when it is overpriced.
5️⃣ Foods that are trendy - Trying a viral recipe is different then eating random foods to get unrealistic results!

Your daily reminder that “guilt” is a not a food group! 😱

Feeling guilty before, during, or after meals does not have a positive impact on your health. As a matter of fact it is probably setting you back both on your journey towards self-acceptance and overall well-being.

Including movement that is not related to calorie burning, pushing yourself past your limits or relying on “willpower” is a great first step into not only changing your relationship with movement but also with your body!

🧘‍♀️ Trying a new class can allow you to branch out and have fun!
🌳 Taking time outside without a phone can help you get back in connection with your mind and emotions!
🌺 Including a hobby or an interest such as dancing, roller skating, or hiking can increase your enjoyment!
🤸‍♀️ Ease into the movement, you do not have to be good at whatever movement you are trying!
