How do you rehabilitate muscle injury & also eliminate compensation patterns? Most people know that compensation patterns are the body's attempt to freeze muscles around the injury, so it can heal. What they don't know can hurt them: If allowed to continue long after the injury is healed, compensation patterns can cause new pain. Sometimes hip pain is caused by unequal tension within the muscles that wrap around the joint to stabilize it.
