πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Encourage independence by letting them choose what they want.
πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Fruits in mason jars stay fresh longer! I have them always available for them to eat.
πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Only have a few snacks available so they are not full at lunch time or dinner!
πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ I like to offer snacks that have protein, fiber and healthy fats. I fill the bucket with peanut butter waffers, whole grain mini bars, oatmeal cookies, raisins, mini mini muffins, nuts, gogo squeeze.

⭐️ Watch for foods with choking hazards for little ones under 3 years old, like whole grapes πŸ‡ , nuts and seeds, raw vegetables πŸ₯—, dried fruits, and chips.

⭐️ The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children under 2 years of age don’t consume any added sugar. Kids 2 and older should have no more than 25 grams (or 6 teaspoons) of added sugar daily.

RAINBOW SHAKE 🌈!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Smoothies are easy to make and you can have it as breakfast or snack!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Just blend a variety of fruits/vegetables, which provide fiber, vitamins and minerals!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Make it colorful so it is fun and healthy! Different colors of fruits and vegetables give you different nutrients!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ kids love the combination of flavor and if it’s colorful, better!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ The base of every smoothie is frozen banana 🍌 to give consistency!

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ³ Blend all ingredients of each color, put them in freezer while you prepare the rest, then stack each one on top of the other in a glass!
