Happy First Day of Spring! 🌸
There is something especially meaningful about the spring equinox. It marks that turning point when we begin moving into a season of more light. After a long winter, that return of light can feel genuinely uplifting.
In the natural world, it is a shift in rhythm and balance. It can feel like an invitation to begin again. The season changes in ways we can measure, and it also stirs something hopeful and symbolic within us.
Spring can feel fresh, beautiful, and full of possibility. And still, even this delightful season can bring stress.
Along with the flowers and sunshine, spring can also come with schedule changes, holidays, travel planning, work or business pressure, and sometimes that sense that we “should” suddenly have more energy, be more social, or make sweeping progress on our goals simply because the weather improved.
That is why I wanted to remind you about a hopefully helpful podcast episode from the PsycHope archives: Your DOSE of Stress Relief for Spring 🎧
In that episode, I explore simple, realistic ways to work with your brain’s natural feel good chemistry, Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins, to support stress relief and mind, body, spirit well-being during the spring season. This episode is also accompanied by complimentary DOSE resources created to support you throughout the season.
🎧 You can find how to listen to this episode in the Pod Archives story highlights.
📝 Check out the DOSE story highlights for the DOSE Reflect & Respond Checklist and the DOSE of Spring Inspiration handout.
I hope these resources support you as you step into both the delights and demands of spring.
