Beautiful Life Care & Services came first, but it's all connected
Beautiful Life Care & Services goes "Beyond Care" to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in their homes and communities
Beautiful Life Health & Wellness was established after BLCS, when caregiver burnout became a prominent issue
After overcoming caregiver fatigue & burnout myself, I began helping my colleagues improve their wellbeing by restoring balance to their BODY MIND & SOUL.
The approach is simple, we use mindfulness & action steps
Remember you are whole human, not a machine
1. Commit to specific actions for your Body, Mind, & Soul
(move your body-drink water-stretch-pray-worship music-read the bible-skip the drivethru-drink greens-exericise-deep breath-meditate-mind work-positive self-talk-affirmations-journal-nature)
2. Be Consistent - Stick With the Plan
3. Remember It's A Journey - Slowly adjusting habits leads to a healthier lifestyle & improved well-being
Start by doing ONE ACTION for your body, mind, or soul x 7 days
What you do from there is up to you & the plan
Don't skip the mind work - many people are stuck mentally, and that's where the change needs to start
The body work is nice because you can SEE changes & FEEL better
The soul work is the most IMPACTFUL but often saved until we've progressed in the mind & body, only to realize we yearn for more
That's where we become complete
When we've connected with our inner being & the highest power
And we see
Its all about GOD, it's all about LOVE, & it's all CONNECTED
